south korea national interest sounds like an oxymoron. America's national interest is taking a massive hit. south korea is developing into a strategic mistake. There entire GDP is based on items that could be a lot cheaper.

Adversaries know that korea is a drag, and the more America pretend otherwise the bigger the blowback will be. america is not propping korea against china anymore, china is propping korea knowing it is a sink to america.

china won't make everything cheaper, they'll give korea's niche enough wiggle room to rotten. korea will start selling out. korean industries, institutions, and leaderships have not recognized the situation.
