Hello to all steemians here in steemit philippines.
Yesterday, October 24, 2021 we held our first-ever Charity Event in the Visayas region which is Feeding for Childrens at Zone Ahos Paknaan Mandaue City. Early in the morning, we gathered together with my fellow steemians in the assembly area where we are going to prepare all the things needed for the event. We meet new friends also steemians here in the Visayas although he is not new to this platform it's the first time we meet him in person sir @christianyocte he is a nice guy and easy to deal with because he treats us like not new to this platform.
We have prepared for packing some groceries, school supplies, and we cooked food for feeding.
For the groceries, it contains rice, sardines, milk, pancit canton noodles.
For the school supplies, we had papers, a ballpen, pencils, and crayons. And for the food pack, we have rice, fried chicken, and bam- i.
After preparation, we directly went to the venue where the feeding event happens. While we're on our way I feel excited and at the same time nervous thinking on what the possible reactions of the people there. Near the place where the feeding happened, I see the life of the people there it's very poor and it breaks my heart to look upon their situation thinking about how they struggle with life, how they handle poverty. And I realize even how poor I am but still, there are those people who are harder than me.
As we arrive and they see us wearing steemit shirts and mask as they loudly say that we are a member of the steemit community it's been an honor and proud to be a member of this group and I see the faces of the children how happy they are as we approach them together with their parents. And we told them the possible things they were about to receive I see a purely smile on their innocent faces. A certain smile that could feel our hearts delighted.
Every time we give them the word THANK YOU echoes in my mind and connects to my heart it's soothing.

I felt like I am so blessed and no words can express how happy am I to be able to give them help although it's just a little thing the experience I had will last forever it's unforgettable.
And I can say clearly now that we should love and respect children on what and who they are because I believed Children are the hope of our nation.
Lastly, I wanna extend my heartfelt thanks to all the people behind this activity a very successful event To steemit philippines, @steemitphcurator, our admin from the Visayas region sir @juichi, for the undying support and to all my fellow steemians who contributed some sbd even it's just a small amount but it is a big help to them. To all the hard work we've been through but finally, we made it and it's all worth it.
