My wife and I woke up early so we decided to look out what we can cook from the fridge. Most on the fridge needs to be consumed before they'll get perished so we had prepared different foods for breakfast alone.
Water spinach, mushrooms, and tofu
Ingredients:
- Water spinach (or kangkong)
- Mushroom
- Tofu
- Chilli green
- Chopped onions and garlic
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Oyster sauce
- Oil
Procedure
- Heat the pan with oil. Sauté chopped onions and garlic until golden brown.
- Add the mushroom, followed by sliced tofu.
- Add the water spinach. Sauté along with the other ingredients.
- Add oyster sauce, black pepper, salt, and chilli.
- When it's cooked, serve.
Fried Banana
Ingredients:
- Banana (saba)
- Oil
- Sugar
Procedure
- Slice the banana lengthwise.
- Heat the pan and oil.
- Spread sugar on it, and fry.
- When it's cooked with the sugar, take out from the pan, and serve.
Fried Tofu
Ingredients:
- Tofu
- Oil
Procedure:
- Slice the tofu in thin slices.
- Heat the pan and oil.
- Fry the tofu on it until slightly brown or crispy.
- Serve. Best with soy sauce and calamansi dip.
Fried Mushroom
Ingredients:
- Mushroom
- Crispy Fry breading mix
- Eggs
- Oil
Procedure:
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Add the breading mix, and stir until blended.
- Heat the pan and oil.
- Dip the mushroom on the breading mixture.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve.
