So what I am doing here? Haha, I’ve been wanting to share my story also regarding my unforgettable summer getaway. As one of the moderators of Steemit Philippines Community, it should have been my honorary entry, or since I was not one of the assigned judges perhaps I could also win if my entry would be pleasing enough to the judges.

Anyhow because of being engaged with a lot of essential things lately I wasn’t able to submit my entry so please allow me to share my experience now.

My Most Memorable Summer Getaway

Being in a beach seems normal and we get to do it often, but this one is definitely different! It happen in a place quite far from our residence, actually an island away as it transpired somewhere in the Visayas and we are living in Mindanao.

Although the whole family wasn’t there but me and my wife and our two kids were able to experience the most memorable summer experience in a lifetime.

Manjuyod Sandbar – The Maldives of the Philippines

The place was heaven for me. The water, the sand and the view is spectacular. It is really one of the best summer destinations, not only by Filipinos living nearby but also by guests who came from different places and even from other countries.

When we were there we had companions from Korea and Australia and maybe some from other countries. You can see them in the picture above, that was me and those people in my back are Koreans.

Do you know what's this in the photo above? It's actually a sea urchin which were sold by some boatman using the boat in the photo below.
