I was at SM Downtown here in Cagayan de Oro this morning and while I was walking through the exit towards the parking lot I noticed these amazing Christmas decors display and decided to write about it.
It’s been a while since my last post, I mean I do submit weekly moderator’s report featuring my chosen top 3 of the day but participating in the Diary game, contests or creating a personal blog is not happening anymore.
Honestly I have so much to share or write about but I was just too busy to do it. I hope I could spend time to be more active again here on #steemit, I mean active in creating blogs.
Anyhow, I used to spend time at SM, during the times wherein I have to wait for my wife from work in the evening or my kids from school. And since September came, the mall made some spectacular decorations for their customers to feel the spirit of Christmas.
(Playing with the kids at Fun time)
Me and my kids used to play fish games at Fun Time. It's like I am already addicted to it, such that when I get the chance I make sure I could play together with the kids. Although I know this should not be happening for a longer time since I need to spend or deal with other important things.
This morning I took photos of the display, specifically those stunning Christmas Trees. I really appreciate and admire how they decorated such trees and made it look so spectacular. I’m sure a lot of customers had bought or will buy those beautiful Christmas trees to be displayed in their respective homes.
Although we still don’t have decorations for Christmas at home and we only have an old small Christmas tree that we can use for this year’s holiday season, buying a new Christmas tree is not just easy considering its price, they are really very expensive.
Now let’s talk a little about how a Christmas tree started or what it is symbolized.
Long time ago people used to decorate their homes with pine and fir trees during the holiday season. Bringing the evergreen tree into our home is a long tradition. It started in ancient Egypt and Rome, and was first brought to America in the 1800’s.
For Christians, the tree symbolizes the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The branches and shrubs are considered as a symbol of immortality.
So that’s all for now. Hope you enjoyed the photos of those stunning and attractive Christmas trees.
