Diary Game Season3 November 25, 2022

Hello Steemit friends! Have you been woken up because somebody is about to give you something? That is what happened this morning and I will be sharing it with you in this article of mine.

Last night, I and my family ate at my mom's table. we have been doing it for months because I hate seeing her eating alone. My father had died four years ago and my sister had her own table too. She had a daughter with cerebral palsy and that was her priority.

We went home after that and not long after, my husband went to the barangay hall to report for duty as a CVO.

He knocked on the door at 5 am and we both went to sleep. My eyes were literally closed when I opened the door for him because that night, our son had a cough and vomited and I had to stay awake to make him comfortable and got him back to sleep.

At 6 am, our new neighbor called for my husband from outside the house calling him to pick up the chickens at their place.
They rented someplace and sold culled breeder chickens there. They had a good income and deliveries happened often.
Last night, there was a delivery but they are not around and the young men were not very careful with the chickens and so some were fighting unit, they got weak.

The owner decided to slaughter them and gave them to us. Culled breeder chickens can weigh from 4-5 kilos and were sold from 400-450 pesos per head. They lost three heads so it would be a huge loss for them but we consider it a huge blessing too!

I guess they had enough of the chickens and they gave them to us.

My husband was quick in preparing the meat; my mother boiled water for the cleaning to be easily done and my husband did it like a pro!

What's funnier is that he woke me up to cook rice but I got back to sleep and woke me up again.

way back few days a ago, my sister and my mother agreed that they would lend(utang) one head of culled chicken in their store and pay for it at the end of the month but my husband had a second thoughts about it. Good thing we did not make it happen because what we wanted has been tripled and it came for free!

The plan was to Lechon(roast) one chicken and cook the other in a different menu. only my sister knows what she will do.
Anyways, I enrolled my sister here in Steem but she was not yet accustomed to the site. She said she still needs my help but we rarely have time together because the kids are always around and want to borrow our phones.

We only prepared two chickens; the other one was given by my mother to the other sister that I had who had another world than ours. Lols.

Also, as I made my way to my house and my mother's, I noticed this wonderful walking Iris bloom that we had today and it's mesmerizing as always.

And oh, the fly was on the frame too!

As of this moment, I am very excited to go home and see what my beautiful family had prepared for dinner.
My husband called in earlier today that they had started roasting the chicken already and my sister cooked Puso ( rice cooked inside the young coconut leaf. I feel hungry all of a sudden.
