This is the question we should always ask ourself every morning when we wake up?
often times we tend to make people feel bad ignorantly or most times knowingly! due to the fact that we are higher than them.How do you treat people who are below you?do you treat them like infidel or inferior?do you behave like God around them? let's try to be good to people who are below us,you shouldn't use your power to make others feel worthless,the fact that you are above today doesn't mean you will still be at the top tomorrow,life is just like a dice,it might toss 6 for you today and then 1 for you tommorow..
Those who you think you are better than today might end up being above you tommorow should life hit you hard!
To drive home my point,here is a true life story an old man once told me sometime last year.
There was this telecommunication company in the country,it was very famous and could easily rank number 1 in the country without competition.
But something unfortunate happened,one of the cleaner who works there died,and a replacement was needed...
A young boy between the age bracket of 20-23 applied for the job and luckily he got the job..
He started working there and was loved by almost everybody in the company because of his diligence and hard-working spirit,but just like you and I know,not everybody will be happy with you no matter how hard you try,some people will always consider you useless and irritating...
There were 3 staff who hated this boy for no just cause, nothing he does pleases them,he was just hated..the boy tried all he could to please almost everyone but as a human that he is,it was impossible...at some point,one of the famale staff even went to the extreme by slapping him, claiming that he didn't mop the floor very well.he wept bitterly and remopped the floor,others felt sorry and try talking sense into the head of the lady who slapped him,but as a cleaner there was nothing he could do but cry because he was way below to challenge the lady who serve as her boss!
One particular day,the young boy as usual arrived at work very early and had began his daily routine has a cleaner, when the CEO of the company came in,he was marvel to see a young boy so early to work even when most of the worker haven't arrive yet,he saw joy on the boy's face and how happy he was cleaning. Then he thought in his heart,if a man can be this happy and diligent with a cleaning job what if he is given a better opportunity.so He called the boy to his office and ask him about his parents and his education.
The boy told him he was a student on scholarship in one of the most prestigious Universities in the country studying business administration and was on holiday,so he decided to work to raise money to buy drugs for his sick mother because they are poor and had no one to help them, "my mother is sick and so i have to work to get money to buy her medicine" he said.. so the CEO felt sorry for him and insisted on seeing his mom,he went home that minute and brought his mom to the company..
When the CEO saw this woman before him he broke down in tears likewise the boy's mother, fortunately they were siblings who got separated when they were at the orphanage after the death of their parent,the CEO happened to be the woman's brother who was adopted by a rich man when he was young..
They lost contact of each other many years ago and now fate brought them back together using the boy as instrument..
They wept and hugged each other.
After a week,the guy was promoted to the managing director of the company!!
what do you think the guy would do those staff who hated him and maltreated him for no reason??

what if u were in the boy's shoes,what will you do??
so let us try not to use our position or power to intimidate other instead assist other with ur power or position,you never know what might happen tomorrow just like this story,we might be in their position tommorow and at their mercy!
