INTRODUCTION

Hello fellow Steemians, I'm excited to be here. My name is Emediong Bassey and it is my delight to be a part of this great family.
My heart leaps with joy everytime I come in contact with Steemit or anything that has to do with Steemit because I've really benefited from the platform. This contest "My Plans on Steemit" happens to be a combination of the renumeration of my achievements so far on Steemit and my prospective plans about the platform. Some weeks ago, before I was registered to this platform before I had registered for this platform, I never knew that I could find hope , satisfaction and education from a social media-like platform like Steemit.
Registering as a member of Steemit has been one of the best decisions of my life,so I will gladly share my experiences on Steemit so far and also not hesitate to make known my future plans as it relates to steemit.

My Experience So far on Steemit

This week marks my third week as a bonafide member of Steemit and I can assure you that I has been an exhilarating experience. Before I continue, it might be necessary to let you know how my journey into Steemit started.
Actually, I had known about Steemit long before I became an active member. The first time I heard about Steemit was early last year, precisely February 2020. it occurred that I first about Steemit through my roommate in the University hostel. He was at that time still a novice to this platform but had the basic knowledge on what this platform was all about
He also told me that his growth in Steemit at that time, was hindered by his lack of an Android phone, having had his phone stolen some weeks earlier. I had picked up interest in Steemit ever since then but I did not make any tangible move to become a member of the Steemit platform. I spent the whole of 2020 being satisfied with the crude knowledge that I had about Steemit, but I never did anything to make me a member. It was about a month ago, precisely on Saturday, the 8th of May 2021, when I attended a cryptocurrency trading summit in Uyo, Nigeria,where I took a resuscitated my interest in Steemit. This interest was ignited during the session where one of the Keynote speakers mentioned blockchain and included the Steem blockchain as one of the renowned blockchains in the world. Two weeks after the event, I was registered in the Steemit platform, through the help of a friend @joelmaxwell. Since then, I've been on a wonderful escapade, of which I'm about to share with you all.
In just about a month of being a member of Steemit, I have definitely realised a tremendous difference between myself today when compared to when I wasn't a Steemian. I've learnt on of the greatest lessons of life, which is the lesson of creativity. Creativity to me, is the powerhouse that drives innovations and inventions. The impartation of creativity in individuals and the activation of a creative network is what Steemit has been able to do exceedingly well. I've been able to make use of imaginations and thinking ability in the creation of novel contents and ideas. These, I have been able to do extremely well, devoid of plagiarism, and using the right techniques and manners of writing.
I've grown to explore the various groups offered by Steemit, utilizing them as a source of exposure to various ways of lives, traditions, cultural norms, beliefs, religions and ideas of various people. Beyond the exposure, Steemit as imbibed in me , the confidence to succeed in the current poor dilemma of the country. This is seen in my ability to earn money from my creative posts and insinuations in communities. I could proudly confess that I am progressively mastering the art of multitasking, interspersing school activities with the strife to attain financial security. Truly, when recounting my experiences so far on Steemit, I can happily move on to making plans on how what to do next in this vast ground of opportunities, Steemit.

My Plans On Steemit

As the popular saying goes " He who fails to plan, plans to fail", so is life on the Steemit platform. Goals and objectives must be carefully set in order to give Steemians directions on what to do in order to succeed. Before hand, I had only thought of making money from Steemit but as grew in platform. It didn't take me long enough to realize that there are no limitations to succeeding in the Steemit space and these successes are as a result of the concomitant application of efforts in adding value to the Steemit ecosystem as a whole. Having in mind that my success in Steemit is endorsed by my efforts to grow the Steemit platform as a whole, I've tailored my plans to suit this vital demand and my plans includes the following:

1. Winning Souls

One of the things I've always wanted to do, is to expand the Steemit community. This is forged out of the desire to introduce new friends to steemit, so as to make them a part of this wonderful experience. I've decided to make sure that almost all my colleagues in the University will have been registered on steemit, even before I finish my studies. This will aid grow the Steemit membership base, and also help spread the good tiding of Steemit to the masses.

2. Staging Meetups, Symposium and Cohorts and becoming a Steemit ambassador

I was privileged to have a wonderful experience to stand up to discuss about making wealth on the internet during my departmental symposium, about two weeks ago. And I confidently told the entire department about Steemit. I told them that the steem blockchain is a very stable blockchain, with a constant growth rate and potential to even grow exceedingly.
The reactions I got from the audience was overwhelmed, as they should keen interest in knowing more about the Steemit platform.
Over the past few weeks, I've been asking myself, "if I could get so much interest from people in just one small scale trial, what if I do it formally in a large scale symposium?". This has given me the impetus to continue to grow in Steemit, knowing full well that in the nearest future, I'll be sponsoring meetups , cohorts and symposia, with the aim of showcasing the Steemit platform to the world.

3. Learning enormously from this platform

Before I had joined Steemit, I was told that I would learn alot from the platform. Truly I've come to realize that I cannot only learn but also teach on the platform. I've decided to learn cryptocurrency trading on Steemcrypto, thereby opening a means of wealth creation through the platform. I've planned to join the cryptocurrency tutorials that will be starting soon. Since I'm currently low on steem power to be able to join the tutorials, I've decided to make more good post, in efforts to be upvoted by curators like @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 to enable me to get more steem power. Learning cryptocurrency in this platform will be one of greatest things to happen to me.

4. Adding value to other members of this platform

In efforts to add value to other Steemians, I will apply for the position of a professor in the steemcrypto community. This'll enable me to teach Steemians how to create more wealth on the blockchain. I also plan to open a community which I'll name #steem-nigeria-tech which will be a tech outfit ,creating a platform for Nigerian tech lovers to express themselves about their tech experience including areas like Data science, Web development, Android development etc. This will go along way in boosting the tech involvement of Nigerians, as contest will be organized on the platform, contents created and bootcamps organized.

5. Extensively Valorize Steem currencies

The Steemit platform has its financial transactions run with two of the Steem major digital currencies, the Steem dollar and the Steem cryptocurrency. In efforts to endow more value to the Steem currencies, I plan to make Steem currencies a means of financial exchange by food restaurants, supermarkets,filling stations and even schools. This I plan to achieve by first of all, introducing the proprietors of these businesses to steemit, showing them hiw to they can promote their businesses and as well, earn from the platform. This will help disseminate the good news of the Steemit platform and also improve the steem ecosystem.
In a bid to further strengthen this idea, I plan to make the Steem currencies the major means of transactions in my family. This will include me sending money to my siblings or parents using Steem currencies and vice versa.
And of course, they'll have to be members of Steemit if they must enjoy this benefits

6. Creating Wealth

Having executed the aforementioned plans on Steemit and with due consideration that adding to the Steemit means simultaneously adding to myself, I earnestly plan to grow financially on Steemit. Financial growth on the Steemit platform will concomitantly motivate me to work more harder in adding value to the Steemit ecosystem. I plan to earn big with Steemit and even make others earn also. I plan to see myself soaring higher in Steemit, because in Steemit there are no boundaries or limits, you can't just stop winning.
