Chapter 1

Around somewhere in Abia State, Umuahia precisely, there lived a lovely couples Mr. And Mrs Emmanuel Nwachuckwu. God blessed them with wealth, they have been married for 13 years, but no child, but Mr. Emma never gave up on his wife, because of the love He has for his wife "Mrs. Angella Nwachuckwu", he believes that one day she will give him a child. They've been praying and hoping on God to bless them with either a female or a male child, even if it's just a child. This made them to visit so many prayer house, but all to no avail.

On one faithful day, Mr. Emmanuel decided not visit any prayer house again, but all he did was to maintain his previous church, he did not just maintain his previous church, he joined the workforce in his church, ushering department precisely. While Mrs Angella Nwachuckwu also joined the workforce, but this time, not the ushering department but she worked as the children teacher, not just teaching, she also washes the children toilet, takes care of them. She always gives them biscuits and juice every Sunday immediately after teaching them. This wonderful couples decided to be visiting the motherless homes twice every month. They proceeded with such act for complete 2 years adding to their 13 years of marriage making it 15 which was around 20th October 1995. They continued doing this good things to the extent, they forgot their prayer request. Indeed doing this period all types of insult came from outsiders and even the Man's family. Some said Mr. Emma has used his offsprings for money rituals, while some said that Mrs. Angella did several abortions before she got married to Mrs. Emma. But not minding what people were saying, they never stopped doing their good works in the house of God, but rather they did even more good.

Something happened one days, Mrs. Adaugo Mr. Emmanuel's mother called him and told him to pick a new wife that his wife cannot reproduce and that he has gotten married to his fellow man, she even went as far as telling him that his wife is a witch and that she has been eating their babies, Mr. Emmanuel replied with a harsh voice "Mum listen and listen very careful, I'm no longer a kid, I can handle my family issues myself, and anything that has to do with my family doesn't concerns you, and on no account you should ever call my lovely wife a witch again". His mum was shocked, because that was the very first time his son raised his voice on her. All she could do was to insalt Mr. Emma and his wife, both Mrs. Adaugo and Emmanuel's sisters. At some point they got tired and decided to mind their business.

My points from this very chapter:

• When God is the head in a family, there is nothing any man can do to break the bond or bring anyform of confusion in the family.
• When insults and temptations starts coming your way, don't give up, and don't even stop the good things you're doing, because it's simply means that your blessing is just around the corner.
• Sometimes allow the good things you do, to overshadow your request from God. Because if you are always thinking about your request from God, and it looks as if it's not coming, as a man, will might look for other means to get our request. But when the good things you do in God's house is more than your request, you have nothing to worry about. God time frame is very different from that of man.
