Why are you afraid?

Here we are, constantly frightened of losing what we have, clutching it so tightly that no one can touch it. We believe that by keeping it hidden from the rest of the world, it will remain hidden and ours. Nothing is the case. Nothing will ever be. Nothing has ever been.
If you believe you own anything, whether it's money, a house, a job, or a partner, you're mistaken. Everything will vanish in a single swoop. One strike, my man.

We're so insecure that we're frightened of re-starting our lives, so we just keep attempting to clean up the mess we've created. Sure, the idea of giving it all up and starting anew — with nothing – crosses our minds now and then, but we feel terrified and push aside anything that terrifies us.
Nothing I ever do or gain can be taken away from me in a couple of seconds. You've never accumulated enough to be unable to lose it all in a matter of minutes. What you believe to be yours was never yours and never will be yours. You make whatever you want here, and you take it with you when you go. You came naked, and you're returning naked.
So, what do you have a fear of?
Allow everything to be lost. Allow them to remove everything. You will live, you will breathe, and you will be able to get it all back... again and again, as long as your heart beats strongly, your nostrils are clear, and the blood flows freely through your veins. Because if you can do something once, you can do it again. Life is merely a game we play.
