The Diary Game: 23nd August, 2020: A Busy Sunday

Dear diary, I had a good night rest. I woke up by 5:30am for devotion, today's devotion was quiet early because of Sunday service.

Ready for Church

After devotion, I assisted my sister in selecting a dress to ware to church because she didn't come with any. After the selection, I went and had my bath and brushed my teeth.

Leaving for Church
We got dressed and left for church. We got to church quiet early because we met the Sunday school. Our vicar traveled, so the conducting and sermon where anchored by the Evangelists.

During the Service

The topic for the sermon was a new creature in Christ, to be truthful, I didn't really understand the sermon because the lady that preached made it a difficult and tiring sermon to understand.

After service, we had youth meeting but I couldn't stay because I had a pending transaction with my sister before she travel back to Port Harcourt this morning. I greeted some friends before going home.

When I got home, I changed my clothes, my sister and cousin where in the kitchen while my mum was downstairs tending to the birds. I went to assist her with the birds downstairs.

Sprinkling Sand on the Ground

The birds were sick and were excreting blood, we lost 4 birds due to the sickness. We had to scrape out the excretion and pour in clean sand while giving them medication.

When we were done, we came upstairs, I was hungry and wanted to eat, then I recalled that I had two pending things to do before eating because it involves my sister and she was ready to leave.

There was a baby shoe I was supposed to work on and I was supposed to transfer money from her wallet to mine. When I settled her, I was about going to serve my food when they brought in the subject of going to get ice cream. I was really hungry but that was the best time to go because I wouldn't want to go out in the evening so my food had to wait.

Shoprite

We went to shoprite mall located in refinery junction Effurun to get the ice cream, I bought it at 2.5SBD.

After buying the ice cream, I decided to take a few shot in the mall before leaving. When we were done, we boarded a tricycle that took us home.

Rice and Banga Stew

After taking the ice cream, I served my food and ate. That is rice and banga stew, its one of my favorite food. I enjoyed my food, after eating I went to bed, browse through my phone a bit before sleeping.

I woke up late in the evening, had dinner, watched a movie. By 10pm we prayed and went to bed.
