The word Democracy comes from the Grrek word “Dimokratia” and the true meaning of the word is freedom and equality but if you check it out in a dictionary they refer to the word demos as ‘people’
that have the authority to decide their ‘kratos’ governing legislators.
To me:
Democracy is what gives us the right to express ourselves in a freely meter.
