There is probably a couple of people around you, who are telling you the popular lie：Start your business and be your own boss.
Don't believe them. It's a scam.
Start a business because you have a solution to offer a society in need of it. And be willing to give it your all, because that is the only way it works; by giving it your all. I mean, YOUR ALL; your time, your money, your sleep.....and if your are not careful, your health, family/friends and your spirituality too.
You don't give a boss your “all”, but you will give it to “your” business, if you are ready for success. This is what makes you the slave instead of the Master. You will work while others are sleeping and work while they are awake. You will work whether it is paying or not. You will work whether or not someone recognizes and pats your back. You are your own cheerleader, secretary, marketer etc.
Sadly, there is no guarantee that after you have put in all of that, that success would be sure 。Statistics prove that 90% of businesses fail within the first 2 years. It will only be faster, if you run your business trying to be a boss, instead of the worker that you are. Failure will be certain too, if you are a lazy and entitled worker.
But then, there is this other 10% chance that the best days of your life, may come after these long nights. What ever you do, whether it is your own enterprise, hospital, law firm, talent development, etc., Don't give up yet.
Are you wondering why I am making a business-motivating post on a Friday？ Because there is no difference between Fridays and Mondays over here.
So cheers to everyone, who grinds without a break, may this road lead you to better Friday nights in years to come. The MVP recognition actually goes to all friends and family members, who are not only supporting their loved ones to be the best they can be, but also being understanding enough.
And lest I forget, the grace of God makes it all easier, so no matter the price tag attached to the future you desire, It will be too expensive if it is going to cost you your relationship with God.
So instead of saying TGIF, I will simply say “Thank God I am alive”.
