It's no secret that none of us will live forever, and that we will all have to leave this planet one way or another at some point. That raises the question of what people would think about you after you've passed away. Although some people are unconcerned with what others think, others are concerned about how they will be remembered when they are no longer alive.
This raises the question: how much work are you putting in right now if you want to be remembered for making the right impact? Do you consider yourself a worthy role model or mentor, and do you make an effort to leave a positive impact on others?
What motivates you on a daily basis?
What motivates you to get out of bed every day, ready to conquer the world and accomplish great things? What motivates you to be the best version of yourself? What motivates you to achieve your goals? Are you inspired? There are so many questions that only you can answer. Every waking moment provides us with multiple opportunities, and only those who make the most of those opportunities truly prosper.
There must be some kind of inspiration to do the things you enjoy and do them well, or else there will be a lack of dedication, intention, and desire to motivate and inspire you to put forth your best effort.
I'll use examples of people who have made the best use of inspiration to do amazing things to further illustrate my point.
Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest footballers of all time, has been on top for many years, but it wasn't easy or quick for him; he had to train twice as often, and this determination and hard work can only come from someone who aspires to achieve.
Also at the height of his career, when he had gained fame, fortune, and celebrity, he was the first to arrive at the training ground and the last to leave; this is coming from the greatest footballer in the world. Something was certainly driving Ronaldo to better his game, which is why he had the passion to practice hard every morning, not content, and ready to do whatever it took to become the greatest.
Success is not for the slackers or those who question their own abilities before they even realize they have them. A vision, aim, or target must remain a burning desire in our hearts, and if not achieved, it must motivate us to prove doubters and even ourselves wrong.
