As a supreme creature, humankind has proven its intellect, creativity, and efficiency by reigning over other species through invention. This invention has helped him overcome the setbacks in its path. But the joy of this invincibility has made him inconsiderate. As a result, many of his inventions today threaten his own existence. So, it is high time to avoid the wrong inventions and look for alternatives. Now I am going to share my opinion, according to the questions on this topic, with you.

If you had the power to permanently delete one thing from the Earth, what would it be and why?

Consuming food is essential for our survival. Food availability is related to food production. Today, ensuring food production to meet the food needs of a growing population is a major challenge for almost every country.

Increasing food production requires the use of substances that minimize harmful effects on agricultural production. These substances are known as chemical fertilizer, chemical mixed food and chemical pesticide, which are artificial compounds.

Although it significantly increases our agricultural production, its use poses threats to mankind, biodiversity, and the environment by creating fatal diseases, causing the extinction of many species, occurring environmental pollution.

As artificial compounds are man made inventions, according to the given topic, I will want to say, If I had the power to permanently delete one thing from the earth, then it would be "Chemical or synthetic compounds in agricultural production” such as chemical fertilizer, chemical mixed food and chemical pesticide.

How will its absence have a positive impact on society, nature, and mankind? explain.

Before describing the positive impact of the absence of "chemical or synthetic compounds," we need to describe the negative impact of it. These are given below:

Impact on production:
Artificial compounds as a chemically mixed food (for poultry and animals) and fertilizer in agricultural production hamper normal growth and fertility, which has a negative impact on plant and animal health. Sometimes chemical foods and substances are used to speed up the growth of production and store them for a long time artificially.

This abnormality poses many health risks for them and causes them to suffer from various complex diseases. Besides, as pesticide is a toxic compound, it has a negative impact on the quality of the products it produces.

Impact on the human body:
In the production of chemical food and fertilizer, many artificial compounds are used which are not good for human health. And, to produce chemical pesticides, many toxic substances are used, which directly affect the health of their production workers and their users. These toxic substances cause various abnormal symptoms in them. Like:
headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, irritation of the eyes, and skin diseases.

To consume those contaminated or abnormally produced foods, the human body also suffers from many abnormalities that gradually pose a threat to its survival. Such as, These foods suppress the immune system and disrupt hormones in the human body.

Thereby, it impairs neurology, diminishes intelligence, damages liver-heart-digestive functions, and causes abnormalities in reproduction. And, finally, after taking those foods for a long time, the human body suffers various kinds of fatal diseases like tumors or cancerous diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart, brain, and liver disease.

Impact on the environment:

On soil:
As chemical fertilizer and pesticides are used directly, they are mixed up with the soil easily. It changes the normal pH levels and hampers organisms (bacteria and fungi), especially when it is implemented indiscriminately. For these reasons, the soil gets polluted.

On air:
Because of the spraying of chemical fertilizer and pesticides, they become volatile in the air and contaminate it.

On water:
If chemical fertilizer and pesticides reach the water, they spread contamination widely. So, after irrigation or rain, those substances easily go by the canal to ponds and rivers and pollute the water.

Impact on biodiversity:
Pesticide-contaminated soil, water, and air have direct harmful effects on other biodiversity besides humans.Such as, extinction of non-target plants and beneficial insects by soil pollution, extinction of fish and aquatic animals by water pollution,extinction of birds and other air organisms by air pollution and contaminated crops, insects, and foods.

Positive impacts
So, the absence of these artificial compounds in agriculture, like chemical food, fertilizer, and pesticides, will bring positive impact by
(1) Producing food normally,
(2) Reducing our health from complexity and diseases,
(3) Keeping the environment healthy from pollution,
(4) Keeping our biodiversity from extinction,
(5) Besides these, sometimes these artificial compounds, especially pesticides, are used to commit crimes and suicide because of their cheap price and availability in the market. So, its absence will also resist social crime.

What can we substitute for it that has the power to resist all subsequent devastation?

As an alternative to "Chemical compound," we can use "Bio compound" to resist all subsequent devastation.

Alternatives to "Chemical fertilizer and foods":
To produce risk-free foods in agriculture, we should use "Compost fertilizers," "Vermi-compost," and "Bio-fertilizers" as an alternative to "Chemical fertilizer" in producing crops.
Besides, we should practice systematic intercultural operations like weeding, mulching, green manuring, etc. As an alternative to "Chemically mixed foods," we should use "Bio-feed" like pulses as animal foods. Here, we should follow integrity and be patient to ensure the normal growth of the crops.

Alternative to "Chemical pesticides":
As an alternative to "Chemical pesticides", we can use "Bio pesticides" and "Bio-control agents." These pesticides are easy to use, suitable for tolerance, and have no side effects. such as powdered diatomaceous earth, turmeric water, soap or detergent water, etc.

Moreover,
currently, scientists see a glimmer of hope in "Probiotic bacteria" as an alternative to chemical pesticides. These bacteria have an automatic efficacy to amass nutrients for crops from soil, air, and light and increases organic substances in the soil. It is also capable to resist harmful bacteria and repel insects.

As its application has started experimentally and the expected results are being obtained, this method is currently quite expensive. However, if its production and marketing are started commercially, its cost will be reduced.

Conclusion

Though "Chemical compounds" contribute much to ensuring optimum production in agriculture, they will bring a catastrophe to our existence in the future. So, to ensure food safety, we should produce safe food using "Bio compound" for a sustainable future.
