Despite the anticipated separation from my loved ones, I hold this year's Eid ul-Fitr holiday in great esteem. The significance of Eid festivities with family and friends has always had a greater importance for me. Every Eid brings back happy memories, from times spent with my parents as a child to times spent with my in-laws after getting married.
However, things are different this year. We have had to spend some time away from our family since my husband has been stationed in India for the last six months for work. As Eid comes, I feel empty about spending it without him. This is what made me decide to take our baby and travel to India to be with him again.
My heart hurts when I think about not being with my family on this happy holiday, but I'd also like the chance to spend Eid with my husband and kids somewhere else. It shows that people are open to change and are ready to try new things. Love and commitment can last even when people are far apart.
In preparation for this special Eid celebration, I am delighted to see my spouse, sorry to be away from my family, but most happy to build new memories and enhance our family relationships. Despite its differences, this Eid ul-Fitr will be filled of love, togetherness, and memories.

I'm excited to say that I've finished shopping for new clothes for everyone in my family, including my in-laws, my husband, my baby, my parents, and even the people who help us. We love this custom, which stands for rebirth and thanksgiving. Staying within budget makes us feel even better because we know we can party without worrying about money. Now that Eid is coming up, I can't wait to see my loved ones dressed up in their new clothes, ready for the fun events that are coming up.

In anticipation of this auspicious Eid ul-Fitr, I have conscientiously devised arrangements to guarantee an abundance of affection, delight, and indelible recollections. Notwithstanding the change of setting to Chennai, India from my customary location, I remain steadfast in my determination to fully appreciate this auspicious occasion alongside my spouse and our child.
Primarily, I am looking forward to spending time with my immediate family and reliving the happiness of our long-awaited reunion. We anticipate commencing the day with the Eid morning prayer, followed by a cordial embrace and well-wishes extended to the nearby Bengali community. This exchange will foster a sense of community and friendship.
I'm looking forward to seeing many famous places in Chennai and learning about its fascinating history and culture. There are lots of fun things to do, like trying local treats, walking through busy markets, or looking at amazing architecture.
In the end, my plan for Eid is to enjoy the holiday with my family and friends by enjoying the moments we spend together and discovering new things. On this day, people are thankful, think about their lives, and strengthen bonds that go beyond distance and situation. I can't wait to enjoy every moment of the day and make memories that I will remember for a long time.
