This wheelchair is a one-of-a-kind invention that can move with finger gestures. This smart wheelchair can control the movement of the chair safely without wearing or touching the sensors with finger gestures. This smart wheelchair was invented by a group of scientists from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. The scientists conducted the study from June 2020 to April 2022.

The teachers-students of the University of Global Village, Barisal created a robot named Padma using the indigenous technology of their own lab. The reason for naming the robot is to commemorate the inauguration of the Padma Bridge.

Eco-friendly bricks made from Vajra

We know that cement, sand, stone chips, etc. are used to make bricks. But nowadays, instead of stone chips, furnace slag is used in brickmaking. Furnace slag is a type of brick called “hollow bricks” made from iron castings. An alternative to old bricks is the eco-friendly modern method of bricks known as “Hollow Bricks”. To prevent environmental pollution and to encourage the use of earthen bricks to protect the top cover of agricultural land, eco-friendly bricks are being manufactured using such technology.
