I am going to plant a coconut tree to save the environment.
Coconut is one of the most important and powerful plants in Sri Lanka.

(01) 👉 Milk obtained from coconuts is used for cooking.

(02) 👉 Coconut sticks are used to prepare Idal to sweep the yard.

(03) 👉 Coconut fiber is used to make a broom to sweep the houses.

(04) 👉 The coconut flower is cut to produce ra, a drink unique to Sri Lanka.

(05) 👉 Coconut wood is used for roofing and ancient Sri Lankan people have also used coconut fronds for roofing.

(06) 👉 Doctors say that coconut water is an anti-cancer medicine.

(07) 👉 As in the past, the coconut flower is an essential part of the sacrifices performed in Sri Lanka.

(08) 👉 After someone dies, a young pole is hung in the shape of an arch at the front gate of his house.

(09) 👉 Orange and Kurumba are also famous as a delicious drink as well as food.

(10) 👉 Oil is obtained from coconuts and the oil is used to temper food and light lamps.

From the root of the coconut tree to the last branch can be used.

The people of Sri Lanka call the coconut tree Kapruka. But the coconut tree is not a plant native to Sri Lanka. A plant that migrated from abroad.Researchers believe that the origin of the coconut plant originated in Southeast Asia.Legend has it that they migrated to Sri Lanka through rivers and sailors.
