SEC-S6W5 : "A memorable day with my friends".

Greetings to you all, dear Steemians, from @jasminemary Today I am going to share with you the memories that I have with my friends that make it extra special.

What did you do to make the day extra special? And the most memorable activity you did with your friends on that day?

There was a day that I and two of my friends traveled all the way from Calabar down to Ikom, in a place that is very close to Agbokim waterfall. After the burial of my friend's father, we decided to make use of the opportunity of being at Agbokim waterfall and went down to the waterfall, where we then had some fun.

We went closer to where the water is falling from on top of a hill and took some photographs.

What funny moments did you experience during your time together?

My funny moment was the time that I entered the water and tried to swim, but I couldn't swim because of how afraid I was. The moment I stepped my feet inside the water, I felt cold, and as I put my hands inside the water, I shouted, which made me quickly scream and throw the water above my head, which made my friends start laughing at me because it was so funny.

What did you learn about your friends from spending time together?

During the time I and my friends spend together, I learn how to be humble and not be a busy body when it has to do with water or anything else. My friends openly told me that they don't know how to swim and that we should go back since we know the place.

I didn't listen to them at that moment; I went ahead and tried to swim, and if not for how kind they are to me, I would have entered deep inside the water, and who knows what may have happened to me. To that end, I learn about friendship and love from my friends.

What was the most unexpected thing that happened throughout the day?

The most unexpected thing that happened throughout the day was how afraid my friends were as we went to the waterfall. Before going to the waterfall, we had already planned to spend some time there taking pictures and exploring the area since it was our first time going there. To my greatest surprise, we only spent about 30 minutes before my friends started disturbing me about going home.

What would make the day even better if you could do it again?

What would make the day even better if I could do it again is when I can swim if I should go there again. What is more fun when a person goes to a beach or a river is when the person can swim. Going to a river like a waterfall without swimming is like a waste of time for me, and if I could go there again with my friends, I would plead with them so we both could enter the water and swim.

How do you think the day impacted your friendship? What was the most meaningful conversation you had with your friends that day?

During the day, when I and my friends were at the waterfall, I got impacted by them at the time that I tried to swim inside the water. The way they advised me not to swim really touched me deep down in my soul. Their lifestyle during that day really impacted me so much that even at this moment I am still calling them to say thank you due to how they impacted me.
