A rainy day

---

A rainy day is a perfect blessing to nature given by God. This rain not only wets the nature but also makes our mind restless. I love it when it starts raining, I want to go in the rain and get wet all over my body. When the cold drops of rain fall on the body, a tingling sensation arises. I want to touch this rain a little. I can't touch the rain though.

The condition of the sky before the rain comes

When the nature heats up in the summer heat, when the fields become parched in the drought the Bangla month of Chaitra, when the nature becomes desperate for a single rain, then we also suffer in the unbearable heat. Nature calms down a bit when summer storms hit nature. At the end of summer, when the monsoons come to calm nature with the hope of new life, the animals of this world seem to breathe a sigh of relief and nature finds its fulfillment.
At the beginning of the rainy season, when the sky is covered with dark clouds and the surroundings become dark, but a flash of joy flickers in my mind. This is when the rain came down. As soon as it starts raining, I want to cook something different today.

It is not bad to cook a little bhunakhichuri. With some bharta items and if cooked with beef, it will taste amazing.
Why should I eat khichuri on a rainy day because if I eat khichuri with beef, I feel very hot after eating it, so if I eat it in this cold weather of rain, I feel a little less hot.

Many times I want to finish cooking and go to the roof and get wet in the rain. But the sad thing is that rain doesn't wait for me when I'm done and wet. Then the mind feels very bad. When I can't get wet, I go to the balcony and wet my hands with rain water and think to myself that I am getting wet in the rain.

Finally, when I am soaking in the rain, it is raining in cats and dogs, when the plants are swaying with the rain water and become heavy with more and more water, then it is very nice to play in that rain water, to get my feet wet. This rain also calmed my mind. But I don't like to get wet alone, I like the moment when everyone in the house gets wet together.

I like to sit by the window when it rains and when a drop or two falls on me, the water touches my heart. I never like to sleep these days. I think the rain will go away if I sleep. So as long as I can, I feel soaking every moment of the pouring rain with both eyes.

In the afternoon, I like to eat a little fried food, especially fried almonds, fried rice and fried boots or chickpeas. Again, they taste great when mixed together with a little green chili. In the afternoon on a rainy day, I like to eat it with mudri and chanachur. It is better to sit on the balcony and have a cup of tea. On a rainy day, when there is nothing to do, I like to sit and read story books, especially romantic stories by Buddhadev Guh and Humayun Ahmed.

On rainy days, when the rain is gone, I like to go out of my house, then I go out to fill the void of how green the surroundings are. I get a little more upset when I see water on the road near my house. I don't like to walk in that water.

Moreover, when it rains continuously, this excess rain causes irritation. Then the children have to rush to go to school. Vehicles are not available so early in the morning. This blissful rain seems unfortunate even though a rainy day brings us blessings.

And one thing I used to love was when I lived in a tin house, I still miss that childhood memory of the pattering sound of rain on the tin roof.

So I enjoy the whole day sitting at home or going to the roof as much as possible.
