Contest - Week 1: My Unique Recipe.


The cooking competition has started now that wherever you are, everyone in this competition must come here with their own cooking recipes and we will learn about the cuisine of different countries. Talented chefs from different countries will express their talent through their cooking.So I am also participating in your contest with my cooking talent.

Cooking is a talent that a chef makes unique with his own talent with a variety of colors and a recipe with the magic of various spices. And interesting.Cooking magic is a magic of cooked hands.

I will also make you a recipe here today but I only need one ingredient to make that recipe but I will show the technique to make it and the combination of the food. I can make the other dishes more hidden. And this is one I am sharing with you here my authentic recipe.


My unique recipe is Sour Yogurt/Curd.

Curd is a beneficial food for the body that we should eat every day to stay healthy. Bacteria in sourdough kill the harmful bacteria in our stomach and keep us healthy. The way it's made seems unique to me. How come I can make many recipes with this sour yogurt.

I'm telling the reason why I said this is the unique recipe.

That's because I'm the Opsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), '', I can't eat all kinds of food everywhere.I know why outdoor foods don't seem hygienic.So I make my own food as much as I can and eat that specific food.


Any thing made of milk available in the market makes me uncomfortable to eat, I don't like to eat the curd bought from the market because in most cases the curd available in the market is colorful but since the color of the milk is white then is the curd made from curd milk. What color can be. That is, the curd/yogurt available in the market must be given any color.So while eating this curd made in the market, I have only one thing in my mind. There must be something adulterated.

On the 6th november, the yogurt made the previous day should be kept in the refrigerator to be set.


Nowadays every food is adulterated so I tried to make unadulterated food. Moreover, different types of chemicals are mixed to make outdoor foods delicious so that the foods do not rot easily. And let the food stay fresh for a long time.Moreover, we are getting sick day by day by eating these adulterated foods. Moreover, the way they are made outside has really created their methods in a germ-free environment ?

It's a matter of doubt.So I think my homemade yogurt is better than adulterated yogurt in the market, for that I make it at home. It's sterile and hygienic and healthy.

I have shared with you here the entire process of making yogurt .


I've needed a kilogram of cow's milk to make curd. I need pre-made yogurt that we call yogurt seeds and without these yogurt seeds it will never be possible to make yogurt. So I took out the curd seeds from the fridge and put them in room temperature.

I squeezed the milk with a strainer.Then boiled well in stove fire for 10 minutes. And after 10 minutes of milking I put the milk in room temperature to cool down. The milk cannot be completely cooled and the good curd will not sit when it cools down, so the milk should be mixed with curd seeds while the lukewarm is still there.

At this stage I will turn on the gas stove and place a heavy tawa. Then take a towel in a pan and add a glass of water to soak the towel in such a way that it sinks all in water. Now put these pan on top of the gas stove e and heat them for a minute.

When the boiled milk has cooled down a lot, I'll beat the curd seeds well with a spoon. When the yogurt seeds are well mixed .I'll take 2 spoons from the boiled lukewarm milk and beat them well. Then pour the whole part of this beaten milk and curd into hot milk and beat it well with hand beater for a minute so that the mixture of milk and curd is well mixed.

At this stage I will at this stage pour the whole milk mixture a little higher into the pot in which I will make the curd to make a little bubble. Then put the curd on top of the tawa. When I see with my hands that the wet towel is slightly warm, I will turn off the stove and cover the curd bowl with a lid.

After two hours I'll heat a minute of tawa a minute again. By doing this, the temperature required for making yogurt, i.e. a little hot temperature, the whole pan will be hot inside so that it does not burn if you touch it.


After 1 minute of heating, I'll hold it by hand and see if it's a little hot, I'll turn off the gas stove again, then leave it like this for another three hours. After another three hours in exactly 5 hours I'll lift the lid and see my entire curd is set.

And I'll put the pan of yogurt from that gas stove pan immediately into the refrigerator. And my own unique recipe of sour yogurt is ready.

Curd, can't be eaten as soon as it's made so I didn't serve it anymore.I'll keep it in the refrigerator for four to five hours and this yogurt I'll eat and serve 7th november the next day.

One of the reasons I called the recipe for making sour yogurt unique was that I'd make the salad with this yogurt.Make fruit salad and vegetable salad.

So I can mix sour yogurt and eat any food I want and with this sour yogurt I can prepare all kinds of rich items starting from polao, biryani, chicken roast, barbecue with just this sour yogurt.

Moreover, I love to eat fruit salad and vegetable salad with this sour yogurt because if sour yogurt is mixed while making any salad, the quality of the food increases and the nutrients increase. So I happily ate this sour yogurt with vegetable salad and fruit shalad that I found great to eat.
