Assalamualaikum friends. I hope you are all well and always excited about creating content on Steemit. Today I'm going to write about Contest - Which country is your favorite without yours? This contest was initiated by @msharif in the Steem for Bangladesh community. Because this contest is very interesting, I invite my colleagues to take part in this contest; @wuland, @elrazi, and @ustazkarim.

What is your favorite country and why is this country your favorite?

There are two of my favorite countries, Turkiye and England. Both made a deep impression on me in terms of history. Even though it's geographically far from where I live now; Aceh (Indonesia).

However, these two countries feel very close to me from a historical perspective that is full of emotion. However, here I would like to warmly discuss Turkiye. Not talking about Great Britain.

Because in the 16th century, Aceh had diplomatic relations with the Ottoman Turks or Turkish Ottmany. Their relationship is also quite warm. It's like brothers. At that time, Turkey was under the leadership of Sultan Selim II.

Aceh and Turkiye have bilateral relations, especially in the defense and trade sector. Sultan Selim II once sent soldiers and war equipment to the Turkish kingdom. In fact, the Aceh flag almost resembles the Turkish flag. References can also be seen here.

Briefly discuss the similarities and differences between your country and this country

Now, the Kingdom of Aceh (1569-1903) is under Indonesian rule. However, there is nothing wrong with discussing the similarities between the two countries. Geographically, these countries are thousands of kilometers apart.

Indonesia (Aceh) is also a country that has a great history. In Aceh (Indonesia) the population is equally Muslim. In Turkiye, there are many buildings of high historical value.

In terms of tourism, of course, Indonesia and Turkiye have their respective advantages. However, I am very happy to see Turkiye in Asia and Europe. Because that's one of the unique things that I like about Turkey. A fusion of Western culture and Asian civilization. This is the added value of Turkiye as a developed country.

If I have a chance I want to go there and see all the big cities in Turkiye. Including visiting the very famous Hagia Sophia. The Blue Mosque has a European style and classical Ottoman architecture

Briefly describe the natural beauty of the country

Even though I've never been there, by reading the information in various media, of course I know about Turkiye. Turkiye is a country rich in historical heritage. Everything is still well maintained.

If I have the chance to visit there, of course, I can't wait to cross the Bosphorus strait that separates Turkiye Asia from Turkiye Europe. According to information, this strait is 30 kilometers long and 3,700 - 750 meters wide.

Of course, it would be great if we crossed the Bosphorus at sunset. We can watch the sunset there. In addition, quite a lot of other tourist objects can spoil the eyes of foreign tourists.

Below are some of the tourist destinations that I must visit when I land in Turkiye. I can't wait to go on an adventure in Turkey.

  • Silk Market dan Grand Bazaar
  • Emirgan Tulip Garden
  • Ataturk Mausoleum
  • Virgin Mary House
  • Topkapi Palace
  • Istiklal Street
  • Cappadocia
  • Pamukkale
  • Ephesus

I was very sad when Turkey was hit by a devastating earthquake on February 7. Very sad. Aceh also experienced the Tsunami disaster in 2004. Turkey really helped a lot.

Briefly discuss the main themes of the country's development

It seems that Turkiye will now focus on rebuilding the areas affected by the earthquake last February. There are 50 thousand people who became victims of the disaster.

Therefore Turkey needs help from the international community to assist them in rebuilding their country. Many residents lost their homes after the earthquake.

I am sure that the current Turkiye development theme is shifting there, rather than discussing big projects. This is also important, but the current conditions are not yet possible.

Conclusion

I can't wait to go to Turkiye. This country is beautiful and has a lot of history. Turkiye is also a generous country. They help other countries in times of trouble or when disasters strike. One of them is Aceh (Indonesia).

Turkey really helped Aceh during the 2004 tsunami disaster. All Turkiye humanitarian organizations sent humanitarian aid to Aceh. They are very good. Difficult to forget. Thank you, Turkey.

Thanks to Steemian friends and the Steemit Team who always support me. I appreciate it.
