VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT IN A BNCC CAMP

Assalamu-alaikum, greetings to all. I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am fine by the grace of ALLAH. Today I will talk about BNCC camp volleyball tournament.

All the students of the university are associated with some organization or the other because they improve their skills in addition to reading. I do BNCC as extra curricular activities besides studies. BNCC conducts 3 camps every year. One of them is Flotilla Camp. We have a volleyball tournament there.

A total of 170 cadets from 16 institutions attended the camp. And we were divided into 3 teams each team had 7 players. The teams are Alpha, Beta and Charlie. Since there are 3 teams, the game is conducted by lottery system. The names of 3 teams are written in the box and two coupons are drawn from there. The team that wins the first game goes to the final and the team that loses plays the third team. The team that wins the second game plays the team that won the first game. And this is how our tournament is run.

First, Charlie's team played against the Alpha team. I was the captain of Charlie's team. Charlie team lost 2 out of 3 sets and got another chance to play with Beta team. This time Charlie's team wins and faces the Alpha team again in the final game. As Charlie team lost first time with Alpha team so in the final game all the players became alert and played the final game with their maximum. Charlie's team won the first two out of three sets to become the tournament champions.

Camp Chief Lieutenant Rumman bin Islam awarded gold medals to the players of the winning team and silver medals to all the players of the runner-up team.
