I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing well. I will be participating in a nice cooking competition onSteem For Bangladesh organized by our beloved moderator @solaymann sir. The competition is about recipes. The theme of the competition is My Unique Recipe. I generally love to cook. So without further delay, I am here to participate in this unique competition with a simple and delicious recipe. I hope you like it.

"Tell us about the recipes you make."

Nowadays, winter vegetables are available in abundance in the market and cauliflower is always a favorite among those who love to eat vegetables. Different types of delicious bhajis made with cauliflower, and various types of cooking with fish, are easily adapted to the menu of Bengalis' favorite food. Today we will find, one such quick snack recipe that can be made with cauliflower. And the recipe is - cauliflower pakora. This cauliflower pakora will win the hearts of everyone, young and old, for an afternoon snack with hot tea.

"Mention five (at least) consecutive photos and descriptions of your cooked recipes."

Ingredients:
  • 1 cauliflower, medium-sized
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried turmeric and red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable/soybean oil for deep frying

Prepared Method

Cut the cauliflower into pieces and wash it well with water, then boil it in boiling water with salt for 5 minutes. Once boiled, drain and cool.

Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix the dry ingredients well. Once mixed well, gradually add water to make a smooth batter. The batter should not be too thick.

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying on medium heat. Dip the cauliflower pieces in the batter and fry them. Fry slowly on medium heat until they turn brown. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.

Then the hot cauliflower pakoras are ready to eat. They can be prepared together on a plate and served with sauce or chutney.
