The Diary Game | 24-01-2025 :Khagrachari tour for one day

Hope you all are well. I am new to this platform and I am sharing my another post.

Today my day started at 6 am. I wake up, freshen up, perform ablution and pray Fajr. After praying Fajr, I arrange some tea and biscuits for everyone. Today we will not have much breakfast. We will be traveling far. We will have some light snacks during the bus break. My mother-in-law will not be able to travel with us. So I will prepare breakfast and lunch for my mother-in-law. I have prepared rice, dal, boiled eggs and fried eggs for your mother-in-law.

After finishing cooking, I woke up my children. They wanted to go for a walk but they were not willing to wake up in the morning. I woke up the children, freshened them up and dressed them up. After the children got ready, I served them tea and biscuits. After eating tea and biscuits, we left the house for the bus station. After leaving the house, we rented a CNG car downstairs and went to the station. As soon as we reached, the bus arrived. We had booked the bus tickets in advance, so we went straight and sat in the bus.

After leaving the bus, we were having a good time. But after going a little far, when the winding roads of Khagrachari started, both my children started vomiting. The bus journey onthe winding roads of Khagrachari felt different to me. These winding roads of Khagrachari give a different feeling to the tourists. Travelers especially like Khagrachari for the adventurous journey. After leaving for Khagrachari, the bus makes a break at Manikchari. During this break, we have a light breakfast. After ten minutes of departure, the bus leaves again for Khagrachari.

We reached Alutila at around 11 am. Alutila is one of the most visited places in Khagrachari. Every year in winter, many tourists go to Khagrachari to visit Alutila. We got off the bus and went to the ticket counter to enter Alutila. There is a century-old banyan tree at the entrance of Alutila. As soon as I entered Alutila, my children were overwhelmed with happiness at the beauty of this Alutila. Inside Alu Tila, the hill people were sitting in their own bags with various kinds of goods and arranged the stalls of the shops.

After leaving Alutila, we stopped for a CNG. Then, when a CNG arrived, we took CNG and went to Khagrachari Sadar. We bought a return ticket to Chittagong from the Shanti Bus counter in Khagrachari Sadar. By this time, it was time for our lunch. We thought of eating at a famous restaurant in Khagrachari( Hudum restaurant)the restaurant was a little far from the ticket counter, we hired an auto. After going to the restaurant, we first freshened up. The restaurant had a very homely atmospher.
We ordered several hilly dishes at this restaurant. Although the pictures of the food were not taken, the dishes were very delicious to eat. We ordered hilly vegetable stew and chili stew, dried knife stew, rice, dal, and fried vegetables. We were very hungry so we finished the food before taking pictures. The inside of the restaurant was decorated with some of the daily necessities of the hilly people. This was the first time I had eaten hilly food in my life. I had no previous experience of eating hilly food, but I enjoyed the food very much.

After lunch, we hired an autorickshaw to reach Khagrachari Hill District Council Horticulture Park. Although the driver did not recognize the Horticulture Park at first, he mistakenly took us to another place. Later, when we told the driver again, he brought us to the Hill District Council Horticulture Park.

When we arrived at the park, we saw various items, clothing, and toys made by the hill people in several shops. We bought tickets and entered the park. We enjoyed the natural beauty of this park. In the meantime, it was time for our bus. So we hired a CNG and went to Khagrachari Sadar. When we arrived at Khagrachari Sadar, we sat at a hotel above the bus counter and had evening snacks. For evening snacks, we ate garlic mushroom fry and French fries. After completing our evening snacks, we came to the bus counter and boarded the bus. The bus left the bus station for Chittagong at the specified time. Although on the way back, we could not enjoy the natural beauty of both sides of the Khagrachari road. Because we all fell asleep in the bus.

We reached the BRTCA bus stand at around 10:30 pm. We got off the bus and went home after taking a CNG. After reaching home, we finished the necessary work and fell asleep. (After such a journey, none of us felt the need to eat at night).
