Betterlife - The Diary Game | 01 August, 2024 | Doing some occasional calculations, spending mischievous moments with my nephews.

The first day of a month means some extra work for us, although our business shop was closed for some time due to the unstable situation in our country. We have several rental houses which are managed by me and my father. On the first day of a month we prepare a separate sheet of total rent for each tenant along with the electricity bill for the previous month.

So I woke up in the morning and had my breakfast. Then I sat down to work with my father. We do this work at other times in our business shop, but due to the unstable situation, this time we have to do the task at home. I was calculating and telling my father and he was recording it in the book.

Half of the morning I was busy doing various calculations with my father. We wanted to have a second light breakfast after finishing work. My mother said that two days ago we got a papaya from the roof garden of our house that was almost yellow in color which means it was ripe for eating.

Ripe papayas from our tree are not commonly available, and most of the papayas sold in the market contain formalin which does not give the full flavor. My mother sliced ​​and cut the papaya for everyone. I ate two slices, and it tasted like nectar.

My mid-afternoon was spent at home. I was checking the latest videos of various news channels on YouTube to get updates about the ongoing student agitation. I would have felt lucky if I could have participated with the students in this movement which took place on a large scale in our capital city Dhaka.

Anyway, after getting fresh in the afternoon, I went out to meet one of my friends. We met in front of a tea shop. Inside the shop, the news of the agitation was playing on the TV, and everyone was intently focused on the news, this scene was really worth seeing so I took a picture of it.

I spent the afternoon with one of my neighborhood friends in our area. Meanwhile, I performed my afternoon and evening prayers in the mosque. Back home, I noticed my two nephews playing in our drawing room.

Uncle and nephew relationship is one of the beautiful and funniest relationship in the world. My nephews come to our house for a few days of vacations, every time they do I never miss enjoying a mischievous moment with them. We took several selfies.

After that I spent some time browsing the internet visiting Steemit. After completing the night dinner I went to my bed at the same time as everyday.

Before going to bed I scrolled social media for a while for proper updates because most of the TV channels were under the control of the dictatorial government which made them afraid to publish anti-government news, so social media served as the most trusted media in this movement. Finally, our country is free from dictatorship and is in the process of building in a new way.
