Today my brother going to Kuwait

I hope you’re well. Today I’m a little bit upset. My brother is going to Kuwait; his vacation is over. On 9th November he came to Bangladesh for vacation, also making his e-passport. Last 2020 he renewed his passport, but at that time in Bangladesh, they had not started processing the e-passport. In 2021,Bangladesh provided e-passports, which were also offered for 5 or 10 years.

When my brother came, we also went to Bogra. This place has network issues because I cannot write my post on Steemit. I also regret and pray when I share this day experience with all. My brother doesn't book round tickets; he is confused about how many days he needs for an e-passport and his NID correction process. Within this month we had a good time together. And finally today he is again going to Kuwait for job purposes.

By the way, for the 1st time, I go to the airport with my brother. Yesterday we came to Dhaka, Agargon Taltola. Here we stayed for 4-6 hours, and then we went to the airport; it almost took 2 hours to get there.

In Mirpur 10 we faced a traffic jam; also, near the airport, we again faced the same situation, and finally, we arrived at the airport at 1:30 p.m. Then we looked at the board for checking, boarding, and starting details. After almost 1 hour we waited, and then my brother entered for checking purposes. Then I come back again, Taltole.

Within 50 minutes my brother called me; he completed the immigration process. Seriously, I was just shocked; now I realize how helpful e-passports are to reduce time for checking purposes. His flight is at 16:45; I hope he arrives in Kuwait at the proper time. I also noticed one thing: when I was looking at the details board of the flight, I saw that those who were going to Bangkok had their flight delayed 3 hours.

I feel bad for those passengers; they need to wait at that moment. And at this moment I’m also tense if my brother's flight is delayed like them. But Emirates Airlines provides the best services, and they land on time.

Overall, today my experience is good with our Bangladesh airport. I hope in the future they deliver better services like other countries. In sha Allah, I continue my writing on this platform.

Hello @samia-jannate, I can sense your mixed emotions in your post. It's always tough when a loved one leaves after spending quality time together, especially when the time passes so quickly. It’s great that you had a chance to accompany your brother to the airport for the first time it must have been an interesting experience, despite the traffic and the long waiting times.

It’s also good to hear that the e-passport made his immigration process smoother. I agree with you that the airport services can improve, but I'm sure with time, they will get better.
