I am starting by wishing good health to all Steemit friends. Alhamdulillah by Allah's infinite mercy I am very well. A great recipe contest has been organized in Steam for Bangladesh community. Today I will share with you one of my delicious recipes. I hope you all will like it inshallah. So let's get started.
Bitter gourd recipe
Now it is Ramadan month and different types of green vegetables are available in our region. A few days ago my father-in-law bought gourds from the market for Ramadan food. I made this bitter gourd recipe with potatoes for my family today. The recipe turned out to be as delicious as it looked tempting.
Anyway here is what it took me to make this recipe,

Prepare method
- First step: First, I cut the potato into four corners and cut it thinly. Care should be taken that each piece of light should be very thin. Then wash well with clean water.

On the other hand, wash the bitter gourd well with clean water and cut it thinly.
- Second step: Now wash the garlic and onion well with clean water and cut them into small pieces and wash the green chillies.
- Third step: Place a pot in the oven and add oil and when the oil is hot, add chopped garlic. Then add chopped onion.

- Step 4: I will give chopped onions and lightly shake them with the chopped potatoes. I will cover the required amount of salt in the light and stir it for 5 to 6 minutes.

- Fifth step: Before the potatoes are boiled, I will give the chopped gourds while they are still a little hard and I will give the amount of salt required for the gourd again. And I will give it with green chillie.

(If the potato is slightly firm with the bitter gourd, then the potato will be fully cooked while frying the bitter gourd.)
- Sixth step: Now without covering the lid, I will shake it back and forth for 3 to 4 minutes. I will remove it from the oven when the gourd is green in color and slightly hard.

(Be careful not to overcook the bitter gourd and lose its color. You don't need to fry it for extra time. Then this dish is delicious)
- Final Step : Now I will decorate my delicious dish with cucumber and red chillies to make it look tempting.

Because during these times we must eat healthy food otherwise our body will get sick. So I made this recipe for good health for all family. Also my husband loves this recipe very much.

I have already said that we must eat healthy food to stay healthy during the month of Ramadan. The reason why this recipe is healthy is given below,
Gourd is used in this recipe. Eating bitter gourd increases immunity. Also, bitter gourd contains vitamins and minerals that play a major role in skin care.
In addition, it is very good for diabetes, respiratory diseases and also helps in weight loss. Corolla also contains a large amount of vitamins A and C which will eliminate the lack of these vitamins in our body.
Bitter gourd contains fiber. It improves digestion, cleanses the stomach and reduces acidity problems. Since bitter gourd is used in excess in this recipe, this food is very beneficial for our body.
Eating light increases digestion, improves brain health and potatoes contain vitamin C which is very beneficial for teeth and gums.
Basically the two ingredients that I have used to make this recipe, both the ingredients play a huge role in our good health. So we can easily eat this healthy food.
