With my sincere greetings to everyone on Steemit. I put some words of rice in front of you. Hope everyone likes it. I am Md. Shahin Reza. My username is @shahinreza. I live in the village. And I really like to enjoy my village. So I made a content about paddy.

Bangladesh is a major agricultural country. About 80% people of Bangladesh are dependent on agriculture. Our country grows various types of crops. The best of them.

Paddy is the main crop in Bangladesh

The country's economy and culture are closely related to Paddy. Because every soil particle and person is mixed with the white scent of paddy. But we have to face many adversities in our country. Our aim is to ensure the food security of the country by producing more paddy in a certain amount of land by facing these adversities.

Rice-producing

Although Bangladesh is the fourth largest rice-producing country in the world, the average yield per hectare is 4.2 tons. It is impossible to meet this demand with traditional varieties of paddy and cultivation methods of the Mandhata period.

Therefore, the use of high-yielding (upshi) rice and modern production technology is widespread. In Bangladesh in 1968, the first Ufshi variety of rice (IR8) was cultivated at the field level by the International Rice Research Institute (IRI).
Two types of rice are cultivated in our country. Paddy cultivation is done in Aush, Aman, and Boro seasons.

Below are the steps for paddy cultivation: Selection of seed bed. Underfloor irrigation and water drainage system. It will be observed in Rogabala. After applying pesticides and fertilizers as needed. Apart from this, what other steps do we have to take? Due to intensive farming, the prevalence and attack of various diseases in rice crops are increasing. Various diseases damage rice and reduce yield.

Diseases in different seasons of Paddy
For this, the disease must be identified and managed. Out of a total of 32 identified diseases in Bangladesh, 10 are major. Here, in order to stop or control the outbreak of various diseases in different seasons of rice, farmers should take advice on identifying and managing 10 major diseases.
However, we should remember that harvesting at a ripe stage can result in a lot of paddy dropping, broken ears, and an attack of earwigs and birds. If 80 percent of the rice is hard and transparent, the rice is considered to be properly cooked. After harvesting we should thresh the paddy as soon as possible without leaving it in the field. Chattai, chat, or while threshing paddy on our raw khala Polythene should be spread. If the rice is threshed in this way, the color of the rice is bright and clean. After threshing, the paddy should be dried well in the sun for at least 4-5 days. The seed moisture content should be below 12% and should be stored in moisture-proof warehousing.

It is a matter of happiness that the farmers of our country work tirelessly to grow the golden crop of paddy. When the paddy field is visible in golden color, the farmer smiles.

Different types of quality foods are prepared from rice through different processes. Among them rice bread, pitha etc.

As we are Bengalis in fish and rice. So rice is our favorite food. There is no comparison of rice. Another thing is that rice is Bengali culture.

Carry the legacy of Bengali nation in rice and fish. So Bengali nation without rice or paddy is meaningless.For this reason, we will cultivate and produce more rice to develop our country and nation. I will respect those who are involved in agriculture i.e. farmers.

So our soil and human culture are not to be. Culture will last as long as the earth exists.
