Deep fried crispy Puli pitha of winter

Assalamualaikum Everyone.

How are you all my steemit people? Alhamdulillah, I am well with your prayers. I am Shawlin Sharmin. I live in Dhaka. My username is @shawlin.
As it is winter, everyone is preparing to make pitha at home. So today I also made puli pitha at home for everyone.Puli pitha is one of my favorite pithas. Because it is very easy and quick to make, and also very delicious to eat.It is fried,so it can be kept for some time, which is a very convenient part.

Necessary components and quantities.
MeterialsMesuremrnt

All-purpose flour| 2 cup
Shredded coconut |1 cups
Jaggery (Gur)| 1/2 cup
Cinnamon| 2pis
Cardamom| 4-5 pis
Bay leaves| 2pis
Oil |as needed

Prepared method

Filling:

  • Heat a pan on medium heat with 1 spoon of oil, add shredded coconut, jaggery, cardamom, and cinnamon sticks. Keep it on the stove and stir and mix everything well.
  • Stir continuously until the mixture becomes semi-sticky.
  • After it became sticky, I removed the pot from the oven from the heat and after it cooled down, I took a little bit in the palm of my hand and made it into a long shape.

Step 1:

In a bowl, take flour, salt, a little oil to taste, and a small amount of sugar and mix all the ingredients with a little water to make a soft and sticky dough. Mix the flour mixture well so that there are no lumps in it.

Step 2:

Now I have made big bread with flour dough.

Step 3:

To do this, the bread should be thinly rolled so that the pita becomes crumbly after frying. Put the coconut mixture on the bread. The edges should be twisted and should be tightly sealed so that the inner filling does not come out while frying.

Step 4:

Fry the coconut patties on medium heat until the bread is well-cooked and slightly golden on both sides.
