Greetings Dear Steemit,

I am very happy to be present at the first lesson of the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22. In today's wonderful lesson, I was able to continue the wonderful branch about sweet "pastries" with my dear @dasudi Mam and @lirvic mam,. Pastry Chef Team. In today's lesson, I learned about different types of cakes based on cold biscuits. From this lesson, I am ready to submit my homework today. Let's see how much I learned. Let's get started.

mine.PNG✓ Have you ever prepared any kind of cold cake made from biscuits? Tell us about your experience.mine.PNG

I made cold cakes from biscuits for the first time. This is a completely new item for me.

Tell us about your experience.

Doing something new is a little stressful, but the level of joy doubles when the result is good. Since I am a pastry lover and my hands work quite well in making pages. So I really enjoyed making it. Cold cakes seem to be the best way to make great sweets with less hassle. I am very happy to give my family a taste of the new results. But you will be happy to know that my son was very enthusiastic. I am busy making cakes, and he is busy eating chocolate. And she was helping me a little. It was clear that the children were very interested in trying new foods. All in all, it was a great experience to make new items with their favorite chocolate.

mine.PNG✓ Make a flan, you can follow the recipe given in the course or if you have another one that you have prepared you can share it, detailing utensils, ingredients and step by step.mine.PNG

My children love chocolate so I will make chocolate marquise. First, let me tell you about the ingredients needed.

🧾Ingredients and measurements.

Liquid milk 500 ml.

Cornstarch: 50 g.

Sugar 200 g.

Butter 15 g.

1 pinch of salt

Chocolate flavor - 1 tablespoon.

Utensils I used. ..

Biscuits, chocolate.
Hand whisk, stretch wrap, Mixing spoon, Mold.

Now see the preparation method.

  • First, mix the milk and sugar well. Now mix the cornflour and cocoa powder well with the milk. A pinch of salt should be added at this stage to enhance the taste of the food.

  • Now cook the mixed solution on medium heat in the oven. And constantly stir the solution with a hand whisk. If it starts to get thick, add some dark chocolate and stir. After the chocolate has melted, add the butter.

  • When it's completely melted, remove from the oven and add the chocolate flavor.

image.png

  • Now I will cut biscuits. I wouldn't do that at all; I will break it into small pieces. Pour the mixture over the biscuits in a mixing bowl. Mix the solution well so that each biscuit has a layer of sugar.

  • Now I will put the plastic wrap in the mold and press it lightly into the biscuit mixture. And I would refrigerate it for at least 4 hours.

image.png

***Now I'm going to melt some more chocolate for the cake design. I will spread the rest over the cake for some designs. To decorate the cake I will crush some biscuits and decorate with sugar balls as desired. ***

mine.PNG✓ Did you encounter any difficulties in making your cold cake? mine.PNG

I made cold chocolate cake for the first time, but I didn't have any serious problems with it. Other than that, I followed the amount and tips you provided. Apart from that, I followed the quantities and tips you gave. And I like to make some new food. And since chocolate has a special place, I was sure my kids would love it. Because they like chocolate.

mine.PNG✓ Do you have any special tips for making it? Share it. mine.PNG

Since this is the first time I have made a marquise. So the experience is very limited. I felt the tips you gave were enough. Such as:-

  • Use adequate measurements of ingredients.

  • Use sweet biscuits and do not melt biscuits.

  • Keep the solution concentration correct.

  • Let rest for at least 4-5 hours in the refrigerator.

I am finishing writing about this wonderful Marquise today. Thank you all..

The classes today are very important. So I invite my dear friends to attend this informative class for practice, @suboohi, @raqueluchap77, @blessedlife , @yaumilahya, @eliany, @paholags , @pandora2010.

Hola, hola.
Muchas Bendiciones..🙏🏻

Oh sweet. This is for you. Thanks so much for wanting to see a piece.

¡Saludos amiga!🤗
