SEC-S6W5 : "A memorable day with my friends"

Hello everyone, you are welcome to my post. In this post, I will be participating in the contest challenge titled “A memorable day with my friends” hosted by this great community.

What did you do to make the day extra special? And the most memorable activity you did with your friends on that day?

---

On that day, I and my friends went to a secondary school, we went to enlighten them on things concerning health and personal hygiene.

when we got to the school, we met the principal and told her about what we came to teach her pupils. So she gave the go-ahead order. So when we got to one of the junior secondary classrooms, they were making serious noise to the extent that they did not even notice our presence but after a short time, they noticed us and kept quiet.

They greeted us and we introduced ourselves to them. After that, we began by asking them what they know about personal hygiene. They gave us their idea of what they think it is.

When we were done, it was still early to just go back home so we decided to have an interactive class with the children.

We all sat down with them, we told them about our junior class lives one after the other, we shared with them the mistakes we made, it was very fun and interesting.

It all got so emotional that even the children started telling us about the personal things bothering them, I and my friends were so touched. We decided to put our heads together as one and solved some of the problems the children told us about. It was so adorable.

What funny moments did you experience during your time together?

---

When we were all gisting about our junior secondary school days, we decided to play a game where we all talked about the stupid and funny things we did during our time😃. We were not even shy to say them because we got so comfortable with the children. It was so beautiful, I wish that day could repeat itself.

What did you learn about your friends from spending time together?

---

After spending such a beautiful time with them, I learned that my friends can be very funny and crazy when they get too comfortable. Also, I learned that my friends had some challenges in their junior secondary which affected them so badly. The time we spent with the children, opened a gateway where everyone was just saying what they passed through during their secondary school days.

What was the most unexpected thing that happened throughout the day?

---

The unexpected thing that happened that day was the fact that we were not shy that we are in the presence of secondary school children and talked about the very funny things we did in our secondary school days. I was so surprised.😃

What would make the day even better if you could do it again?

---

If we could repeat that day, Firstly, I will want me and my friends to host a little party with the children in that particular classroom. It will be so much fun.
Also, I will want us to share ideas with the children on how to become a better version of themselves.

How do you think the day impacted your friendship? What was the most meaningful conversation you had with your friends on that day?

---

That day made me know my friends more and I learned so many new things even from the children. We talked about our past lives too. Both the bad and the good. We never knew the day would be that interesting. It was quite a memorable day.

Friends are very important in our lives. Having memorable days with friends is very priceless. It gives me this very unique joy whenever I think of it. I have had several memorable days with my friends and whenever I think about them, I always smile just like the way I'm smiling making this post.
