Greetings and Peace be Upon you.
This is my participation the week 4 challenge "express your love for you National Flag"
Pakistan's flag is both white and green with a new-moon and a star in the moon's range. It is also known as the Flag of the Star and Crescent (پرچمِ ستارہ و ہلال) [Sitara-e-Hilal Parchem].
The Flag of Pakistan was first designed on 11 August 1947 by a Pakistani Lawyer named "Amir Uddin Kedwai" (No picture available).
Among Several designs, Amir's design was selected to be the National Flag of Pakistan.
Is there any history behind the formation of your national flag? If so, what happened?
In 1942 a Member of the Muslim league Chaudri Rahmat Ali Proposed a illustration for the flag of Pakistan which was a fully green flag with a Crescent and 5 stars infront of it which represented the five pillars of Islam.
While a British Statesman Mountbatten suggested the normal flag of Pakistan but with a small minimized British Flag in the top left corner. Both ideas were rejected.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the future founder of Pakistan declared that with a few amendments the flag of Muslim League would become the Flag of Pakistan, but was rejected due to it's striking resemblance to Saudi Arabia's flag.
What do the different colors or symbols on your national flag represent?
This is a very simple topic, The moon represents the symbol of Islam, although the real representative of Islam as declared by Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is a completely black or completely white banner, The star and Moon was used by the early Ottomans and though it had nothing to do with Islam, it is still the representative of the religion in Pakistan's flag. The ratio of white to green is small because white indicates the Minority of Christians, Sikhs, and others while the Green represents the Majority of Muslims.
the 5 corners of the star represents the 5 pillars of Islam.
How does your national flag represent your country on the world stage?
Pakistan is considered one of the most creative flags in the world, although it holds a striking resemblance to the flag of Turkey.
Pakistan's Flag.
Turkey's Flag.
Share your love for your national flag through any creative means of art, craft, drawing, painting, or special video.

I hope you learned something new from this post, God bless you, take care.
I invite @roominaz @abdullahw2 and @hamzayousafzai to join this challenge.
A lot of battles and lives are at stake to earn a country's flag. Pakistan is a Muslim country and the flag of Pakistan is designed to contain the five pillars of Islam which express devotion to the religion. The white part of the flag is for the respect and freedom of other religions which expresses a sovereignty. Good luck to you.

Dear @sohaibkhayyam,,
Pakistan is an independent state that gained independence from the British in 1947 and also got an independent flag which is very important in the entire history of Pakistan. Although the flag of Pakistan is unique and creative, it has many similarities with the flag of Turkey. I wish you well. Keep up the good work.
• Best Regards
