🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

The Amar Ekushe Book Fair is held at Suhrawardy Udyan from the 1st to the 28th of February. Although I live in Dhaka, I had never been to the Ekushe Book Fair before. After the fair started this year, I decided that I would go. However, I couldn’t find the time to go due to my schedule and circumstances. Among these was our in-course exam. So, although I had planned to go before the exam, it wasn't possible. After the exam, a few friends and I decided to go to the book fair. We planned to go in the morning after finishing our college classes.

Since the book fair starts at 3 PM, we decided to stay at college until then. We had lunch at a hotel nearby the college. At 3 PM, we all gathered together and headed for the fair. We took the BRTC bus, which goes up to Shahbagh.

While sitting on the bus, we could see the busy streets of Dhaka. There was a lot of traffic that day. From the double-decker bus, we could see the congestion on the roads. Although it took a bit longer, we eventually reached the book fair.

The most emotional place for us at the book fair is the ICS Publication stall. This publication was closed during the autocratic government. After 17 long years, they were once again allowed to set up a stall at the Ekushe Book Fair. Their stall was beautifully arranged.

If you go to the book fair and don't buy any books, it doesn't feel right. So, I went to the ICS Publication stall and looked at a few books. Since I have a special affection for this stall, I decided to buy an Islamic book from there. After browsing through a few books, I found one that I really liked, and I purchased that book.

This year’s book fair had the most talked-about stall, which was the Kafir stall. After several videos of Kafir went viral, there was a lot of discussion about this stall. Later, there was much criticism regarding the books he had written. So, we decided to visit his stall.

After that, we continued exploring the book fair. There was a stall named 'Matri Bhasha,' which we really liked. Their stall was beautifully decorated.

Besides that, each stall had its unique way of being beautifully arranged to attract the attention of book lovers. Each one showcased the beauty of their stall in their own distinct way.

Today, our day at the Ekushey Book Fair was very beautiful. We all enjoyed walking around the fair together. It feels great to explore the book fair with everyone. And it was my first time visiting the book fair, and I really liked it. Coming here, I got to see the names of many new authors that I wouldn't have discovered if I hadn't come.
