Sunday is a busy day for me. Cleaning, preparing school uniforms, getting groceries for the week, too much for one day.
Let me share with you this drawing that my kid did at school. I was pretty impressed how well he did it.
They were learning about Vincent Van Gogh, post impressionist Dutch artist. Van Gogh was mentally ill, he had some psychotic episodes. You might heard of the story about how he had an argument with Gauguin (another artist) and in his anger cut his ear with a razor once, he even has a self portrait with bandaged ear. Well, this work that my kid was trying to copy is called “Sunflowers”. It looks a lot different from the original, but I really like it.
