Most of the time, I mainly share my lunches on my blogs...let's change for today and let me show you what I did for tea time...
GHRIBA EL BAHLA - A Moroccan Sesame Cookies
They are so easy to make and you can keep them for long! Below are the ingredients needed:
4 Cups of Flour / 1 Cup of Oil / 1 Cup of Butter
1 Cup of Sugar / 1 Cup of grilled and crushed peanuts / 1 Cup of fried Sesame seeds
12 gms Baking Powder / 1 Pinch of salt
Mix all the above ingredients except the flour, which we will add last.
Sift in the flour until you get a cookie dough texture...you should be able to make a ball and it holds, then you know that's the right texture!
Cover the dough and let sit in the fridge for about an hour...
Make small balls out of the dough!
Place them on a baking baking tray with baking paper on...And there they go in the oven...180 Degrees!!!
Your oven must be heating from both up and down with the fan on for you to get those lovely cracks on the top of the cookies...
I made some today and will surely stay for some long days in an airtight container!
Home made cookies / biscuits always taste better, there's no doubt about that!
I hope you've liked this easy recipe and will have a try!
Thanks so much for reading my blog!
