Today was the first time ever that I was going to have a try at some Indian foods...
Normally naans are cooked in the tandoor oven...but for home I made it on a hot pan!
As for the recipe, I got it from this link below - It is a perfect recipe! Just follow the steps and you'll get such delicious naans!

These are the ingredients that I used in making my naan dough, which I then let sit for 1 hour!
- 2 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 1/2 - 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1 large egg
After the resting time, I made small balls out of the dough and rolled them like you can see below!
Heated a pan and cooked on both side until I get a nice coloration!
To accompany my naans...I also made butter chicken and dhal tadka - 2 Indian Classics again!
Everyone was very satisfied with my lunch of the day...don't forget, it was my first time trying to cook Indian foods and all came out super delicious!
I will surely make it again!
