I am @mariarosa27 from Cebu City, Philippines. My real name is really Maria Rosa and I used this as my username in steemit because my nickname is no longer available.

My nickname is "Arose" , the past tense of "Arise" which means get up or stand up. Actually, I don't know why my neighbors and relatives called me that name, maybe because they thought this is the reciprocal word for Rosa 😂 Some called me "Rose" only maybe because they don't notice the first letter "A" or others may think "Rose" english word for Rosa 😂 and I used to it already. And in my current company where I am working now, people called me "Rosa" and its fine with me. You can call me anything you want as long as it is still near to my real name 😊

In my username in steemit which is @mariarosa27, as far as I remember, my grandmother was the one who gave me a name. She used Maria because for her, that is a kind name and she wanted me to grow up as a kind person. Maria is the name also of the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ(for christians), and I searched the real meaning of Maria, it means "Star of the Sea" , "bitter", "rebellion" and "wished-for child". You can find many meaning of this word in google but the most important one is how you believed to be the meaning of that word. And my 2nd name is Rosa which simply means "Rose" in English and is a kind of a flower ☺. "27" is my age that's why I came up with "mariarosa27" as my username in steemit. 🤗
