@clarence25. How unusual my new year was. I'll share with you how I spent it from morning till night.
Early in the morning by 6, all I heard was the crowing of the roster
So sweet and deep I was in sleep
Damn that roster did spoil my sleep
But still I was grateful to God for it
With my morning prayers I said thank you
To him who sees and knows all
Greetings and wishes I said to every household member
Then we all engaged ourselves into some serious cooking and cleaning
Later by noon, all was ready
Varieties of dishes on the dining
How I smiled with my cheeks so steady
I dived straight to eating like I was fasting
Visitors or friends and family came ready
For our bellies were as full as a teddy
We took a stroll around admiring the surrounding.
Ohh later by night it was house party
Dancing and jubilating
For a new year has come
Happy new year to all
