Plagiarism:

plagiarism is using the work, ideas or words of another person as if they were ours, that is, without indicating where the information that is being used comes from, therefore, plagiarism is an infringement of copyright on a work of any kind, which occurs by copying it, without the authorization of the person.

some types of plagiarism:

Copying: is the act of copying literally (sentences, paragraphs) without mentioning the author. of the works we are copying

Paraphrasing: following an author (or an Internet document) very closely without recognizing the source. paraphrasing may be correct, but it can also be improper, in short it can be plagiarism (although not always intentional).

self-plagiarism: self-plagiarism, copying without proper reference to what one has done or even previously published.

Intentional plagiarism: that it is a conscious deception, when what is not is presented as one's own.

how to avoid plagiarism:

• put in quotes the text i have used from another work.example: "love the feeling that moves the world"

• Paraphrase. say the same thing but in my own words.

• I make a summary of what the author from whom I take the text means

• cite the source of origin by clearly identifying the bibliographic data of the work from which i obtained the information, example:source

as we can identify the plagiarism, so as not to fall into it, we must do, for example cite the sources, mention the author of a work where we are obtaining information. We learned about the most common plagiarism and in which we should not incur, since it is conciderado as a theft, a very useful information and that we must take into account in our publications in steemit.
