Hello everyone, today I have to make achievement 4 for which I chose this topic that seems very important to me since it has to do with the preservation of this unique species in South America and that is being affected by the poaching house and deforestation.
The frontine bear
It is the only ursid in South America being known by different names throughout the continent (spectacled bear, Andean bear, ucumari ...) is an animal of a considerable size and weight some being able to measure 1.90 meters and weigh hundreds of kilos being larger the male than the female. They are characterized by white or yellowish spots around the eyes and go down the chest, in some cases, you can also see specimens where they do not present these spots but are of a totally black fur.

They are currently in danger of extinction due to the constant threats they face on a daily basis such as poaching and deforestation of their habitat due to activities related to agriculture.
Each specimen has unique spots in its style, it is like fingerprints on human beings, they are never repeated in another of them.
They are excellent climbers, as they have long nails such as non-retractable curved hooks which allow them to easily climb trees.
Behaviour
You could say they are exclusively terrestrial, with some tree traditions, they like to build platforms on top of the trees which they then use to store their food and use it as a home.
Customs
In the day they can be seen solitary, in wooded territories they build roads that allow them a quick displacement between distant regions. They have completely flat feet which allows them to adopt a completely upright position, which serves to look at the trees or to climb them, as well as shaking to appear heavier, they use it as a demonstration to instill fear.
