My achievement 2 post will see me demonstrate in writing my in depth understanding of the keys entrusted to me,how to safeguard it jealously and highlight the functions of those keys

It's also focus at educating me on how to operate my steemit wallet. So pls stay tuned

To start with : What is security?

According to the merriam-webster dictionary it describes security as - the state of being protected or safe from harm
However security on steem is related to how we keep our steemit wallet and account safe from hackers.

In ensuring efficient security of the steemit blockchain, some keys have been provided. These keys provides one ultimate access to an account as a result we are been urged to keep it safely.

Types of keys and function

1. The master key/password
This key is viewed as the head of other keys. a key that opens several locks, each of which also has its own key.
In other words, this key can be used to decode or get all other set of keys.

1. Posting key
   This key is needed in order to interact with people in steemit blockchain and to perform operations like post,vote comment on other members post and resteem posts.

2. Active key
   This key is used in trading SBD to steem and vise -versa, it is also used for placing market order on the steemit blockchain. It is also used to vote for witness.

3. Owners key
   It is used to reset all other keys...It's said to be the most powerful key

4. Memo key
   This key is used in the encryption or decryption of private memos

QUESTION 1: Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
ANSWER:
Yes, I have.
I did that by downloading a PDF that contains all my keys.

QUESTION 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
ANSWER:
Yes, I do.
I also believe that I will get to know more as I continue my journey in the steemit community

QUESTION 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
ANSWER:
I have already kept my master password and other keys and I did this by storing them on my hard drive and also backed them on google cloud

QUESTION 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
ANSWER:
Yes I do

QUESTION 5: DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM
Yes I do, infact the following images below will provide additional prove to the answers aforementioned.

The images above are added prove that I can guarantee what I said. In order to obtain the image thus , I went to my wallet, click on steem, then click on transfer and then fill up the vacant space correctly.
I also clicked on the power up

BOTTOM LINE
Indeed it is very important to keep our steemit keys safe because once lost, it cannot be regenerated as it is decentralize and misplacing them can prove costlier.
