Hello Guys!
I am Adnan Ashfaq from Pakistan. I am
delighted to continue my achievement
3 after the verification of achievement 2
task.
~ In this achievement we will discuss
about what content Etiquette is and
what are its types.
Friends! This achievement is very
important with the following
objectives as stated in the guidelines:-
• Newcomers have knowledge on proof
of Brain concept.
• Newcomers have basic knowledge on
producing and sharing quality or
original content.
• Newcomers embracing the existing
steem community etiquette.
Content Etiquette in the steemit
platform talks about plagiarism.
And In this article today I will be
explaining my understanding what
plagiarism is all about. Let's get started.
• What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism is a process of replicating
the anyone's work and using it as your
own without giving credit to the real
owner of task. This means it is the
stealing of someone's content and
presenting it as yours work.
In my view plagiarism is a sort
of sin in which a person uses
someone's struggle by stealing his / her
ideas and presenting it as your own
content. Simply it is passing someone
else's work as your own.
√. TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
There are certain types of plagiarism
such as:-
• Complete plagiarism
• Direct plagiarism
• Paraphrasing plagiarism
• Self plagiarism
• Accidental plagiarism
Here we will discuss these types in
detail:-
• Complete plagiarism
It is a type of
plagiarism that is assumed as highest
type of abuse as the user replicates
each and everything. Even he/she
doesn't do anything from his own .
Here they use only content owner's
research work, images and data
without consent. Also, without paying
credit.
• Direct Plagiarism
This sort of plagiarism
is something alike complete plagiarism,
but in this type the major difference is
they use some part of work instead
of entire work. They copies just some
part of content without giving any
reference. This case is known as direct
plagiarism.
• Paraphrasing plagiarism
It is also
another form of plagiarism where
the person paraphrase the original
content of writer I.e by changing a few
words of original content without
referencing where he/she got original
content.
• Self plagiarism
Self plagiarism as the
name implies is a type of plagiarism
you commit by yourself. In this way
you wrote an article in one community
and then copy it and post it in another
community referencing the first place
it was posted. This act is known as
self plagiarism.
• Accidental plagiarism
As the name
suggests, in this type of plagiarism you
may not know how to paraphrase, cite
and quote any of research work you
are doing. So In this case you have
committed accidental plagiarism
because it was not intentioned.
" I have read and understood the
Steemit Etiquette on the steemit
community and will do my best to
embrace them."
I hope you will like this article.
I will do my best in next articles.
Thank you.
