KINDS/TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

Patchwork plagiarism is a type of plagiarism whereby the work of someone else is been twisted with the original ideas using different words including the writer’s own ideas.

👉🏼 COMPLETE PLAGIARISM

Complete plagiarism occurs when a person's entire thought or ideas is transferred to another book the way it is and changing only the writer's name. It is mostly found in the educational sector and especially during examinations.

👉🏼 SELF PLAGIARISM

Self-plagiarism involves when copying your own personal write up just the way you wrote it.
Cramming is a very good example of self plagiarism. But majority of people feels is not plagiarism because you are not copying someone.

👉🏼 ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM

When someone steals another person's writing without properly listing their source maybe because the person forgot or decided to just neglect that.
Most times plagiarism is not an intensional act but proper check has to be done.

👉🏼 DIRECT PLAGIARISM

Direct plagiarism is been done on purpose. Direct plagiarism is when the writer steals exactly the same writing without any text citations thereby telling the public the content is his. It is also called copy and paste plagiarism.

👉🏼 PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM

Paraphrasing (incremental) plagiarism takes place when the copied work isn’t mixed in with new concept or writings. When you paraphrase, the main thought doesn't change throughout the new writing. It is the most common type of plagiarism.

CAUSES OF PLAGIARISM
