Good day to you all my fake friends. It's great to know that you are alive and well. I'm here to write my Achievement 3 post on Plagiarism

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the process of copying someone else's work without that person's permission. Honestly, it's the act of stealing someone else's work or writing. This involves copying parts of someone else's work without reference to the original author. Plagiarism can be called academic theft. Infringes the copyright of the original owner or author of the work.
In Steemit, Plagiarism is strictly forbidden. Steem writers are expected to produce original content.

Types of Plagiarism

Mosaic Plagiarism
Copy and Paste
Self Plagiarism

Mosaic Plagiarism

It involves combined copying by different authors from one individual to form his work. This is an example if a user copies word definitions from different authors or owners and mixes them up claiming to be the original owner without referring to or honoring the original author. Such actions are known as mosaic plagiarism

Copy and Paste

This is the process of copying someone else's entire work and then reproducing or reposting it because you are the original author or owner.

Self Plagiarism

When someone copies his old work and presents it as a new work, it is called or referred to as self-plagiarism.

How to Avoid Plagiarism

To avoid plagiarism, references should be made to the original author, owner or producer of the work or writing he has copied. Once the user cites the source, the user is free from plagiarism.

Users can also use quotes to indicate quotes received from elsewhere.

It is recommended that someone research their work before posting with a plagiarism control application to avoid plagiarism.

Citation Method

The rose is considered the most beautiful flower in the world, which is why it’s called the “queen of the garden.” It’s one of the most popular flowers worldwide, and it comes in different sizes and colors.source
