Hello everyone and I wish you all a happy new month, I hope you are doing well and enjoying your life!
So today I read about the third achievement and learned a lot of new things, so I share my new knowledge about content etiquette and plagiarism.
What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism is defined when you copy some other content giving you credit and without your permission it is called plagiarism.
Explanation
We will understand plagiarism in more detail. Let's say some of them have been working hard on content day and night.
It could be video, blog writing, research, art, graphic design, drawing or photography, etc. and you use these materials in
own content with the permission of this being is known as plagiarism.
If some want to use the created content, they have to get permission from the content creator or give credit to the content owner. This content can be any type of audio, video, text, image, etc.
Example
Now let’s understand Plagiarism with an example. suppose you are a YouTuber and you make a video for youtube with effort day and night. You get up early in the morning and go to take a picture and then go home and turn on your computer for hours to edit the video and then you upload it. but someone without your permission downloads your video and uses it in their own content without giving you credit so you will feel sad about it.
but here’s one thing to learn when someone uses your content with your permission or doesn’t give you credit, this is called Plagiarism. and it is not allowed on any online platform. creation always has the right to take action against it.
Type of Plagiarism
There are so many types of Plagiarism but I explaining the most 7 common types here plagiarism.
- Complete Plagiarism.
- Source Base Plagiarism.
- Self Plagiarism.
- Paraphras Plagiarism.
- Mosaic Plagiarism.
- Accidental Plagiarism.
- Direct Plagiarism.
- Inaccurate Authership.
Direct Plagiarism
It's also known as copy paste plagiarism. just copy some other content without any changes.
Accidental Plagiarism
this means you are writing your own content but inadvertently using some paragraphs that have been used somewhere.
Complete Plagiarism
when you copy someone else's content and post it under your own name This type of plagiarism is called Complete Plagiarism.
Source Base Plagiarism
Source Basic Plagiarism is defined as when you post someone else’s content and provide a reference but the reference is incorrect.
Self Plagiarism
let under Self Plagiarism with an example, let's say you write your own daily routine diary but you post it in more than one community This type of Plagiarism is called Self Plagiarism because you reuse your content.
Paraphras Plagiarism
it is defined as when you copy someone else’s content and make some changes. it means imitating the ideas of others and modifying them for one’s own ideas.
Mosaic Plagiarism
This means that you use other people's content in your own content. I mean, you mix that content.
Avoiding plagiarism....
when you create your content but you take the help of online research so you have to check your content with a plagiarism tool, you help you find out the past written copy in your content. Many online tools are available to check for plagiarism.
always provide a source for your content for example you copy an image from google so also give an example of an image source link that you will find in the image above that I took from google but I also provide the source.
But remember one thing is suppose you copy text from Wikipedia and you just mention the source is Wikipedia so wrong you have to post a link to a specific page from which you copied it.
and it’s a thousand times more dough to develop your own content trust me it’s not so hard you just close your eyes and think your mind will give you a million ideas in a second you just have to work on it.
Citation Method
The rose is considered the most beautiful flower in the world, which is why it’s called the “queen of the garden.” It’s one of the most popular flowers worldwide, and it comes in different sizes and colors.source
