Plagiarism

Plagiarism is referred as an act in which copying content from other person, other websites. When someone copies another site's, another person's ideas or work and shows as their own work. It is known as Plagiarism.

How to avoid plagiarism

We can avoid plagiarism by mentioning the proper source from where we have copied the content or work.

We should always mention the name of the person or mentioned the source from where the Content is being copied.

Types of Plagiarism

1. Mosaic Plagiarism
2. Direct Plagiarism
3. Accidental Plagiarism
4. Paraphrasing Plagiarism

Citation

A citation is the process in which We told our readers that The content is from another place and the content is not our own.

Through citation, We can tell our readers by mentioning the source on the content that is being published. We can mention the proper source from where the content is copied.

For Example
A citation is the way you tell your readers that certain material in your work came from another source and gives your readers the information necessary to find that source again.Source

The above paragraph is copied from another site and hence, It can come under plagiarism. We can avoid plagiarism by mentioning the proper source as I have mentioned the source on above paragraph.
