Hi steem fellows,
Hope so you all doing well.I have completed my achievement 1 post on steemit. Now i am looking for achievement 2 post. This post is all about basic security on steemit like how we use different keys, how funds transfered etc.
First of all, lets discuss about keys.

Functions of different keys:

Active Key:

The Active key is very sensitive key,it is used for sensitive tasks like funds transferring, to update profile, power up and power down, placing a market order etc.

Owner Key:

The owner key is used to change or reset all other keys in your profile or profile including the owner key when necessary.

Memo Key:

This key is used for encryption and description when we transfer funds.

Positing Key:

As shown by the name the positing key is used for post, vote, comment, follow and unfollow other accounts etc.

Master Password:

When the user is sign up to steemit account this password is given at that time the main function of this key is to generate all other keys.

Difference between Master Password and Owner Key:

Master password is used to generate all others keys including owner key.Master password is used when you are going through original account recovery. While the owner key is used when we are going through compromised account.

How to transfer Steem token to other Steem user account:

Firstly open your profile and click on wallet, then click on steem, after that a menu list is shown below the steem. Then click on the transfer option then a new window will appear where you entered your username and the username of the person whom you want to transfer fund, and an other box shown at that place where you enter the amount like how many steem you want to transfer.
That's all about basic security on Steem.

Thank you
