I have completed my achievement 1 and 2 correctly. Today I will share my thoughts on plagiarism. At the end of this task , everyone here will understand what plagiarism is about.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is an act where a person copy another person's work or idea and use them as his or her work without the person's knowledge.

What are types of plagiarism?

There are 4 types of plagiarism:

1. Direct Plagiarism

Direct Plagiarism occurs when someone posts an author's work word by word without changing any word.

2. Self Plagiarism

It occurs when someone posts a same content more than one.

3. Mosaic Plagiarism

It occurs when one copy's someone's content and edit it and posts it as their own.

4. Accidental Plagiarism

It occurs when your original content matches someone's content.

Effects of plagiarism

1. It can lead to account suspension
2. It can effect the reputation of the author

How can I avoid Plagiarism?

One can avoid Plagiarism by the following:

1. Present your own idea.
2. Use plagiarism checker before posting your content
3. Provide the source where you copied your content from

CITATION

Citation is the act of making references to a source of your content to readers. Readers therefore know that some ideas you used in your content came from different sources.

1. American Psychological Association
2. Chicago
3. Modern Language Association

HOW TO CITE A SOURCE

1. Copy the link of the content you want to post

CONCLUSION
