@Cryptokannon I really appreciate your commitment and understand the idea behind it. Thank you very much for the time you spent to keep me and other Newcomers engaged. Your comparison with sails makes sense to me too. But let's take a closer look at this example. You're right if you want to learn everything about sailing ships and how they work before you actually go to the sea. But now you have to differentiate and consider what role you play on this ship. Are you the captain in charge, a sailor or just a guest on board for a crossing. Even though you are all on the same boat, the requirements for each of them are very different. For the guest it does not matter what a mizzen is or what it is used for, even if it is an indispensable part of the journey. He doesn't need to know how the boat works like the deckhands although he uses it. It would probably take days for the guest to write a review of each sail and its special features. But he will still get from A to B no matter how much of the process he understood.
I think I already have a decent basic understanding of blockchain, social media and web-based applications. I could even fall back on some small Java-Script and HTML skills from my early days in the late 90s for the Markdown thing. Still, it took me more than a full day for this review post. I don't think anybody who knows less about it would want to spend that much time. I have read a couple of other reviews and found that even those I found very good are criticized by moderators and require more work from the newbie. That's not much fun, sort of embarrassing and quite counterproductive. With each review, it becomes more and more confusing and hard to find a reliable source that is properly geared to the understanding level of a newcomer. It remains a grey sea of half-truths.
If an incentive is supposed to entice, then I guess it is too well hidden. I only participated for fun and to be part of it. I don't know if I will profit from it in the end or what I will get out of it as a user. No idea what those labels are meant for. It was certainly fun so far, but the requirements in Achievement 5 are in my opinion too much to ask for and above all not sufficiently clearly defined for someone new to the subject.
In the introduction, you wrote -
"...then create a blog post about it in your own understanding." Achievement 5
If the requirement is to describe something from your own understanding, it is not okay to want to correct it. This is a personal opinion that is very important even if it does not necessarily have to be correct. The requirement is not - describe the tools correctly as it is and get the necessary understanding. This is what some moderators are asking quite clearly.
You are asking for 3 posts on each task. With this 4 tasks that makes 12 posts. I lost it after half of the first post on the first task. So there is not much fun left to do all the work.
Apart from that it is not very effective too. Maybe it would be better, for example, to ask a set of questions about each tool which the respondent can answer with the help of the respective pages. However, it is important to make sure that the required knowledge is actually relevant for the newcomer and is needed on his further way in this ecosystem.
Maybe there is a collection of tutorials somewhere, which explains step by step exactly what the tools are all about. However, this is not easy to find. Even something like that would still be a lot to learn and a lot of time to spend for a bricklayer or gardener who only sits at the PC occasionally. The possibilities on Steem are so manifold that not everything is equally important for everyone. Maybe your team could write a kind of quick installation guide like the one that comes with new electrical appliances. Such an overview or something like that could be very helpful. For someone who has never dealt with codes and crypto before, editing an article is a very complicated and time-consuming task. If motivated Steemian have built these 4 tool web pages around steem already, why not integrate a simple editor somewhere that does most of the editing code work automatically?
I have learned something about Proof of Brian, I got it what I need all the keys for and learned how to write a nice post, but I don't even know if or how to communicate with other members outside of comments. I still don't know how to embed my Steemit Blog as RSS Feed on my website. Such things are much more important for me personally to stay engaged. I am very happy that you are giving me these insights and respect your good work. I would like to help you, but I really can't write reviews on topics I don't understand enough about.

Hi @bambamaru2020 I appreciate these valuable suggestions and feedback from your end. We will look into it and see if we need to do some changes to the programs' curriculum.
I think you are just interested in becoming a guest on our steemit ship, and we have prepared a program for our guests too to help them build their steem power at the beginning of their journey on steemit. Please see this program https://steemit.com/hive-172186/@cryptokannon/500sp-minnow-support-program-for-newcomers
I hope you will be joining this program. See you around captain! 😊

sorry if I ran into the wrong pub and raised false hopes and I really apologize. I don't know what else is on the blockchain besides guests, but I am effectively just a user. A sailor looking for a platform for his tales and someone who is basically interested in the topic. But I'm rather unfit to moderate, build or develop anything on this platform. I can help to build the network by using it and by making my existing followers on other social medias aware of our new blog here with you. But at the end of the day I will remain just a guest and I will gladly register for this offered program. Achievement 6 I will probably still hand in at some point. At least I have understood that but the remaining tasks from 5 I have to skip. But I don't need a label or status in return either. Many thanks again for your help and great support.
